The DM-ing style really shows off their personalities: Goth/horror is Taliesin, and "cute/funny mobster bears steal honey" is Marisha. It's perfect. (and, of course, 400-hour-long-epic-fantasy seems like Mercer)

I think my favorite thing is how Sam doesn't know anything about the building.

Taliesin looked so nervous, he was very professional at covering up. DMing is so hard, but I can't even imagine doing it in front of the Critical Role audience.

"Are the cameras even picking us up as vampires?" Me, who researched that for an RP last year: Cameras and mirrors used to be made with silver or include silver in it's image capturing mechanics. Silver, being a typically 'pure/holy' material, wouldn't interact with undead like vampires and therefore wouldn't show them at all. Modern technology has no silver in it, neither do the mirrors. Vampires can be seen just fine in newer stuff. >:3

So from what I understand: What happened basically is Gary Gygax is actually an extremely powerful vampire and massive undead fan of Critical Role. He then chooses to financially stake and immortalize the show (literally) through Geek and Sundry by taking over the the building, turning the critical Role cast into Vampires, and setting up a real life DnD "larp" through their studio with REAL danger. The game the cast are "playing" is themed after a real life, notorious Gygax game module based around Alice in Wonderland, an adventure infamous for being a character grinder (I.E. lots of PC deaths), which is a fact that, ironically, Vampire Gary does not take into account when the cast actually plays. However, despite Gary's lack of foresight, things do go awry beyond what he had planned. The other aspect of the situation is, apparently, some of the staff at the Geek and Sundry building were undead all along, and this causes further problems (werewolves were not part of Gary's plan). I'm sure there's alot more I'm missing, but feel free to correct me or add-on to this thread.

Okay wait a moment...this is some really effed up Lewis Carroll stuff. It took me like 2 hours into the oneshot to realize this. It's some kind of twisted Wonderland. The "creative meeting" is a freaking tea party between three people that are all varying degrees of crazy. The mushroom spores, the "Eat Me", "Drink Me" And at 2 hrs 4 min Liam even says "We're through the looking glass."

Really digging the fact that this a subtle homage to the crew behind the scenes. Very cool move by Talesin.
