There are a couple of good videos on KZfaq explaining why it is not a very good idea to invest in pre-IPO / private companies. Apart from the insanely high fees, quastionable valuation and unpredictable ipo date, you in fact do not OWN any of the shares you buy and security is much lower than buying a publicly traded company..... So it is only for people who can easily say goodbye to their money and still want to invest it. That is why you need to prove you are an accredited investor (or in other words have at least 1m$ net worth), so that it doesn't ruin your life if for any reason it fails.

As someone that uses AI every day, and that has been involved in AI since the late 80s (neural networks, machine learning and AI), I can say based on daily use of both models, neither is superior to the other. It all depends on how you use it and what you use it for. Based on the use case, one or the other can be better, but neither is better than the other for all purposes.

Ok, so im all set up on Dizraptor and have read the Confidential Private Placement Memorandum and related documents. Im not seeing anywhere that defined how any investment would be valued or like the number of shares one would be allocated . It just seems like there should be prospectus type information somewhere.

claude 3 for some reason ramps up my cpu and starts lagging badly as more prompt exchange happens, they cut you off much sooner than ChatGPT and mess up in coding at an exponential rate as the code gets longer. i run a pc with 64 gigs of system ram 3 1 terabyte drives a 12 gig RTX 3080 GPU and a I9 CPU with 5ghz boost. Running Cyberpunk 2077 at max settings on a 4k ultrawide doesn't give it a problem.

I dont think the courts will rule that AI models being trained on copyrighted data makes those models derivative work. To violate copyright you would have to actually distribute copyrighted material, so unless the model does that unpromted (or can be very easily promted to fo that) they arent violating copyright. All of us learn from copyrighted data too, whats against the law is to actually distribute that content.

A lot of companies are presenting performance data that is selective or even fabricated about their AI systems. We ran basic test code on Anthropics AI versus ChatGPT 4.0 and it wasn't even close: ChatGPT was better for Sonnet. Also when ChatGPT made mistakes, they were usually minor syntactic. Sonnet would insert garbage code frequently. Obviously opus will be better but the AI companies are playing games and how they compare code generation. Truth is they each have their strengths and in the current AI climate of misinformation be very careful what you believe.

Right. ChatGPT is not a model. It’s a product. Model is something behind the nice web view which you can see and use on daily basis (for money if you want gpt4). But Claude 3 is a model and not the one which is capable of real world usage (like building your apps based on it). This is more like “showing off” model which will get less performant at the day when they will try to monetize it. For now it’s just high end toy which didn’t face with real world. I’m still open to talk about it.

Somrthing about this video has me convinced that we'll be getting GPT5 within these next 2 weeks.....This feels like one of rhose videos that doesnt age well, aka gpt 5 will blow it out of the water. They just needed to be forced into releasing it, and I believe such stiff competition as Anthropic is putting up is doing just that....2 Weeks!! Hold me to it!

@@TickerSymbolYOU hah!! And to be honest, I was only halfway thru the video when I commented, didn't realize this was a pitch for investing in Anthropic. Seems like a pretty solid investment though, even if GPT5 were right around the corner. If I had the money I would be considering putting it in right now... Alas, I am broke as a joke lol.

@@TickerSymbolYOU let's see what's coming up this monday, my guess is that it is whatever the GPT2 model was that popped onto the arena for a second, that and they'll probably call it GPT 4.5 or something, I'd be very surprised if they ended up doing GPT 5. Also, the new search engine thing they have going that'll definitely be an announcement to give a big old middle finger to google. They're really fucking going at it right now that's wild. But I was wrong and my intuition was wrong and I don't know you any money do i? Cuz I do not have any money, do you want some weed? I got plenty of weed, I'm stoned ape up!! Lol, I kid I kid, I mean I do have it on me but I'm not saying I would ever do anything illegal.... Anyways, I'm wrong, GPT 4.5 wheel a heck of a lot better than Opus though but, it's still leaving plenty of room for Claude And I think they're performance going forward still holds a lot of promise. And in the meantime I'm still using opus primarily, can't beat Opus man it's the king's still if you ask me, at least for my use case
