The Tiger is the largest of the big cats, a killing machine built for power and stealth, they are well adapted to dense jungles and forests. Tiger tried to make the elk die as quick as it could. At first it was catching its breath. Then it got its neck. 1050 psi around any animals neck will end it quick. Tigers, Jaguars can snap most of there victims necks before suffocating.

The tiger knew that it was unlikely that killing the Elk by biting the back of the animal and also knew that the jump to the neck had to be very fast and accurate, and it did.

This is exactly how I picture the Eeveelutions if they hunt prey, especially Vaporeon. Tigers are excellent hunters. They are stronger, faster, and more intelligent than the lion. Those big cats don't mess around when taking enemies down if they have to.

Never travel with a bunch of chatterboxes, loaded with lousy and noisy shutters. What a distraction, for the animals as well as a serious traveller in that jeep, if any. Won't be surprised if the camera shutters distraction played a role in hindering the Sambar deer's sense of hearing

For the tiger, it is his next meal. For the deer, it is life and death shrieks. For the cameraman, it is a thrill. For us KZfaqrs, it is sheer entertainment. One incident but so many angles. It hunts like a lion.. But Tiger is definitely stronger.. I don't think a full grown female lion can take down an adult deer by herself.. Maybe a full grown male lion can..But this is the first time I've seen a wild tiger hunting a prey since tigers are mostly solitary..

Amazing Video...Especially when the Tiger moves in stealthily, stopping every now and then, to get a better view,angle of attack, at the same time making sure of not being seen...(At times,it almost felt as if it was posing for the Cameras. )..Tiger,Tiger,Burning Bright...

One of the most amazing kills... I think it's a Sambar - a large type of a deer... It's pretty large & hence heavy.... The tiger was fabulous...right from the start... It was beautifully freezing at times to camouflage... Good camera work by amateur photographers...

The nature enjoys the dear killing by tiger...bcz it is tha nature which made tiger to kill the dear....if tiger does not kill the dear, it is the nature which will get hurt badly... and in the process of getting hurt, the nature makes the tiger more stronger... and the process goes on.... it is not the tiger hunting for its pray or its not the dear fighting for its survival... its the nature which grows them in the ecosystem to coexist ..
