I love the Tikka T3. I just bought a Tikka T1x (22lr) and it fits the Tikka T3 just perfectly. Right now I have an old WInchester M70 in 308win with a new GRS-stock from Norway and it is perfect för a large caliber rifle. My next deer-rifle will be a Tikka T3 with a GRS-stock on it - that is my next dream come true ;-) Happy hunting ;-)

You cannot beat the T3x rifles for value and performance. Enjoy your new rifles. I have a Sako A7 243, it shoots like a laser too.

Did you have to shave the magazine feed lips to fit the magazine? I’ve heard the mag pull mags are to wide.

You can if you have issues. I use MDT magazines.

for the atlasworxs bottom metal did you have to have inletting done to the stock? just picked up some MDT mags for my 6.5 tikka t3x lite and was wondering if that was needed

Yes, there is a little filing you need to do, so the MDT magazine can be inserted correctly. It is not a big deal. Take your time, use some blue or white chalk and find the friction area and file it as needed.
