Take one of those small containers of whipped cream cheese (let it get to room temp) and mix it in with the canned frosting that comes with the cinnamon rolls. It'll make your frosting taste homemade.

This hack within a cinnamon recipe from scratch is what changed my cinnamon roll game. Tatyanaseveryday food channel on here has a great recipe that uses this method. Before trying that recipe, my cinnamon rolls always came out dry.

Help me out sir OK you first are putting the butter and put else in the bowl then you put the Brown sugar in OK then how do you make the icing for the cinnamon roll cause I’m like you I’ve got to have my icing on it but they look beautiful they look yummy and you just kick butt thank you sir for taking the time.

Thanks!! Butter, brown sugar and cinnamon in the bowl. The rolls came with the icing I used, but you can make extra using cream cheese, powdered sugar, butter and a splash of milk.( I have a video on cream cheese frosting )
