Landon you got this when i was a freshman in high school i got burned aswell may 19 1974 in hospital for 40 days but played football that fall so no what your going though had 40% of upper body burned hang in there an hello from ne iowa were jd tractors are made prayers.

Get well soon Landon. As a small farm owner and a volunteer firefighter myself for the last 15 years Its devastating all around. I've been to a few farm fires over those year. It's truly heart breaking to watch someone's lively hood go up in smoke, then on top of that an injury. Upstate medical is a great facility. He is in good hands.

I hope Landon recovers without any lasting issues. I had a young man get severely injured working for me, and I would have rather traded places with him than to have watched what he has dealt with the last 30 years. God Bless the VFD's, they are risking their lives to save others. Still a great video, Mike!

6 years ago this past weekend our milk house caught on fire,our volunteer department was spectacular in response,had they been just a few minutes longer we would have lost our whole bankbarn . Our milk house is on the end of the barn the hay loft was full of hay that was two years old! We fed the hay out and the bottom two layers were burnt!! No one got hurt in our fire! Lost a few cows in the months after ,due to smoke inhalation!! Wish Landon and family best wishes!!

Shock when a farmer hears fire. We all know the possibilities of what could happen. Best wishes for Landon. Been there when I was young we lost milking barn and 20 young stock. In October all hay lost. Recovered for 10 years, but never same.

Fires can be disasterous. I grew up in was lost to a house fire in North Central Wisconsin. I was in college by then but we lost everything. Our lives have never been the same. Our fire department did a wonderful thing for us. They couldn't save the house but they kept the propane tank from exploding. Things could have been so much worse. So Landon, thank you for your bravery and your service to you and all your brothers in all of the responding fire companies. I will pray for you and I hope you make a full recovery. Im sure multitudes of people will be thinking of you. Your shed is full of seed now Mike soon it will all be in the ground. It was a crazy winter for most of us . We only can imagine what the growing season will bring. Makes me think this is the year for crop insurance for sure in case it is a crazy season. Best wishes.
