Women are often left out of tech, even if they’re amazing at the job. I remember being the only young woman in a design class and being good at it, and the guys couldn’t handle it (not saying all men are like this). I’ve seen women techs have horrible comments by men on their videos or men violating ‘women for tech events’, cutting in line and literally shove women out of the way to get their resume in, even be crude. A talented person is a talented person, no matter the gender.

...And Jony Ive when Steve passed he chose Jony Tim and some other guy outside of Apple. He asked Jony, and he said no, but first, they compared the three and the other outsider was off the table. Jony and Tim were left and Jony said no, he liked being the designer of Apple because he loved having the freedom of designing. Then they asked Tim and he said yes. But I haven't heard of Craig saying anything.

@@XTREMEX1 I have an  fan friend who keeps up in that deeper Apple News and he heard it, I don’t remember where though. Maybe it was a rumor or he really did say no. Something tells me Craig doesn’t want the role because he likes what he does, but I can’t say.

Jeff Williams not only the best for operations and for Apple Watch. He sees a huge role for Apple moving the country--my words here--from "sickcare" to true healthcare. The Watch was conceived in part as a health device. Patents for using the Watch ban for more sensors show his futurist perspective. I assume Vision followed by Glasses will elevate health tracking and diagnostics, probably with a retinal scanner. And here's my 10-years-ahead prediction: and Apple bionic eye. Such devices are emerging as game changers not only for helping the blind but because eyes are linked directly to the brain, indeed technically part of that system. Throw a neurolink into the system and there's the future!

I also could see why Elon if Apple is concerned about his new phone. But let’s be honest, as much as we all want to like Elon’s enthusiasm the cold fact is Tesla has seen its fair share of problems (one being phantom braking, another-owing money to charge stations, not having anyone certified to perform sophisticated diagnostics when they need it), I’ve heard but can’t confirm the Cibertruck may lose the bulletproof windows, Space X (my favorite of the bunch) still has one foot on the ground. I hope Apple hires in-house. I like Elon as a person but I just feel like his visions never really come into fruition. A harsher way of saying it, is that he over promises under delivers and has his hat is in way too much. It is my upmost opinion and criticism and with much admiration and respect when I say this but, they who make cars, trucks, phones, and rockets, they who make all of that, probably can’t do even one of those things the best. Again, my opinion.

If elon wants to make a phone he needs to make his own phone rather than getting involved with Apple in any way. If Elon skipped the Tesla phone (which by the way there is still NO proof from Elon OR Tesla, that that shite is a real thing.) And worked to improve the iPhone. I would never buy one because apple has committed to NO SIM TRAY.

An outsider would be an interesting choice to lead the company, while Craig has the social appearance I don't believe he would have the qualities to be CEO. No to Ive since as mentioned before would make form over function. The problem with Apple at this point is they have that "We know best" mentality and the consumer doesn't like that. I think the CEO should be a person who should embrace customer feedback, cancel products or evolve products (looking at you Lighting accessories) Woz would never do it, He's always been the person who dives into the technology and creates products, not unlike Jobs where he could sell it. Elon's an interesting choice, I could see him marry the idea of bringing requested features to Apple's OS and integrate Apple technologies into Tesla's.

Also no to Jonny Ive, as much as i love his design language for his past works at apple, its not wise when he placed design over functionality esp with the butterfly switch keyboard because he wanted it to be more flush and that was a nightmare of keyboard issues for a few generations in the mac laptops.

If Elon Musk is the next Apple CEO, he’ll ruin it. All he wants is money. Look at what he’s doing at Twitter/X. It’ll make it a whole lot worse if he is the next CEO, To be honest if he is the next CEO I’ll leave and switch to Android I hate the guy. I would rather have Craig be the next CEO because he knows what he’s doing and he’s better than Elon Musk.
