I am a trucker from the 80s. You two live the life I always wanted with my wife and dogs. I would tell her I stopped at the Grand Canyon or seeing the Statue of Liberty surrounded by scaffolding being up dated. Did not have cell phones. You are blessed! Thanks for sharing!

Another great video, I hate walking uphill too Jason, but it’s downhill going back! We lost OD today just after noon, our vets office is going to hold him for me, we will bury him Tuesday, on the property we are moving to. I’m going to put a bench and some pavers near his grave so I can spend time with him. Watching the video cheered me up, especially the babies protecting y’all from those people who were way too close to their truck! I’m in Washington, deliver tomorrow and then head down to Oregon to pick up my load going back home to Tennessee. Safe travels and Peace, Love and Expediting. Dan.

My Uncle drove an 18 wheeler with my Aunt close to Helens when it erupted and brought my family a couple of good size bottles full of the ashes when I was a kid. They are pretty colored bottles and we still have them sitting around the house.

I love the Mt. St. Helens area, could have been your tour guide had I known you were in our part of the state. I’ve tent camped in the area in the federal parks. Too bad you came when we had all the smoke!

Hi Guys, I had a young lady in my Basic Computer service repair IBM course back in 1980 when Mount St Helen exploited. Linda was from the Seattle area. Her mom called her to say that their home was under 10 inches of ash and that the cars were dead from suckling in the ash. The pictures Linda got from home were hard to believe. I see that most of the trees have come back. Enjoy your mini vacation.

We were there in 1986 no buildings and no greenery, it was beautiful in its own way but nothing like now. We were stationed in Washington.

I was in Yakama the day she blew her top, I have only ever seen the street lights come on midday once since and that was a tornado in Sask when I lived there. Didn't have time to wear a mask in Sask for the tornado. Glad to see your getting around, keep safe and maybe someday when they open up the 49th I will be able to head down that way when your in the area.

A friend of mine was out that way when it exploded, he gave me a little bottle of the ash he had it analyzed and their was traces of gold,silver and 10 more different items in the ash Take Care Stay Safe grilled food always taste better outside

Visited Mount St Helens in 1976, was in Canada with the British army so we spent our vacation touring around the north west states. Was in yellowstone too!!!!

I have some of the ash from when it erupted. My anut and uncle live in Washington state, they are the ones that sent it to us. Oh if i remember right my cousin David and some of his buddies were camping somewhere close to it when it erupted and they had to leave before it got to them. BE SAFE AND BE THE BEST

It’s green and brown.. when I was there back in 96 it was ALL gray.. only gray as far as I could see nothing was growing all the pine trunks were bare black and all fell in one direction. Nice to see it return but you just didn’t get the WTF Mouth dropping impact we got.. the sign YOU ARE NOW ENTERING THE BLAST ZONE and topping that hill.. yea only WTF could summarize what we saw!

Hi I'm 67 and live in S.Wales UK. I remember the ash from the volcano affecting the air in the UK we did not have a summer that year, the ash cloud swept over to Europe, must have been so bad for the local area.

Talking about drone flight... do you have to have your part 101 to use drone footage in your Vlogs since you’re getting paid or “monetized”? I’d always wondered how that worked with you-tubers.

We don’t have it but will be getting it soon. I think that is kind of a grey area with the monitzed. We are not using it for commercial work but we do get paid. I think since it is not a main focus of the vlog and not in every video. Who knows lol we are getting it to be safe I guess

Hey really appreciate all your guys insight on trucking and life. Me and my uncle recently started a straight truck 26ft company and so far so good were doing a little of Amazon and a little of the DAT board and were moving. So can u tell me please how I can get some expedited runs too or where to Check other then DAT board. Also am kind of confused about this ELD do I need one even am 26ft box truck. Also IFTA do I need to do it too or semis only thank you guys so much and May God Guide us to the Truth

Any truck over 10k is required to log. Only trucks over 26k lbs are required to have an ifta account. You could check out some of the expedite carriers and see about becoming an otherized carrier for them. This would give you access to their in house load boards

Guys need good read that story that's on KZfaq about the guy that was in the military I forgot what branch it was in he was in that when that happened up there at Mount Saint Helens they were called in 2 Go get several bodies of the Bigfoot creature that had perished during the explosion and there was some that were injured beyond help and they actually had one that was showing them where the other ones were located it is a really over the top story but look on KZfaq about military man picking up bodies of Bigfoot After Mount Saint Helen explosion it's called Mount Saint Helens and the Bigfoot cover up and you'll see the story love you guys stay safe☮♥️🚛
