We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. After living near the city our entire lives we finally decided to sell it all, pack up our 3 kids and live in an RV on our 73 acres while building our own off-grid house and learning to live a more self-reliant life.
Our house build is documented entirely on our main channel "Wild Wonderful Off-Grid". This channel is dedicated to short vlogs showing our life outside the build.

Every time I watch one of your videos I am left in awe. I love writing, but there never seems to be the right words or combination of words to properly describe the impact y’all have to the hearts, minds, souls, and very spirit of the people you touch. And make no mistake you really do touch people’s hearts and souls with such a purity that you impact people well beyond joy. Hands down by far the BEST 2 channels on KZfaq. (Off Grid and After show) Cherish the moments with your little ones. They grow up so fast. Mine are 28, 26 and 24, what I would do to go back to when they were little. Brings a tear to this ole 54 year old man.

As a quick precaution, you might want to round the square corners on the plexy. Never know when someone might stand on a wheel and get high enough to cut their head or something. You guys are awesome.

West Virginia is a beautiful place if you can figure out how to make a living. I know a lot of folks that used to commute to DC and Northern Virginia to work but COVID and remote working has made their commute even easier. But yeah, if you don’t mind living in spots so far back in the woods that they have to pipe in sunshine, you can’t beat WV.

Thanks to whomever is the videographer (I assume Erin) for your skillful artistry. I grew up in WV. The 1st 18 years of my life were spent hiking, camping and going to various rivers in the summer and sledding down my back yard in the winter. I'm in San Antonio now and love living here but really enjoy the small slices of home that I literally can't watch anywhere else. Keep up the great work, you make it look easy.

Don't forget to run straps to the top ring of the trampoline "spring ring" or the wind will rip it off it happened to me and caused all sorts of damage to the side of my home.

Can’t wait to see the boys camping out by the fire pit in their new ⛺️. 😁. Good times ahead 👍. Get them to make a list of what they think they will need. One of my greatest memories was when I was 8 years old and dad and I were at Sears shopping for tools and they had tents set up close by. I had never seen a dome tent. I crawled inside and fell in love. I’m 54 and still have the tent. I’ve replaced the poles but it still works fine 👍. I now have 4 other tents but that first one is special !!!
