In today's video we are working on completing the very last room in our home. Until we build on the bedroom wing of the house this room will have to serve as our bedroom, laundry room and office. Making all those "needs" fit into such a small space is a tall order but we are confident we can make it happen. The first order of business is finishing the built in around the stacked washer and dryer, repainting the room to give the walls a fresh rich color and building on a laundry counter with storage underneath.

We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. After living near the city our entire lives we finally decided to sell it all, pack up our 3 kids and live in an RV on our 73 acres while building our own debt free, off-grid house and learning to live a more self-reliant life.

Over and over again I have to say you two are a delight to watch! And I agree: I'm always amazed about Erin's freehand painting skills! And Erin is the perfect ambassador for all these companies you two promote. Any other commercial I skip, not when Erin does it, that's even pleasant. Doesn't get much better than working outside and your little puppy right there with you......SUPERVISING, of course. Your puppy "learns" a lot from hanging out with Josh, as reflected in his ability to help your daughter with "woodworking." What a dog!!! OH, BTW, my main man, BRUCE, where is he and how's he doing??? The last few moments of the video when the entire family was playing outside is probably the way America look 1-2 centuries ago. With neighbors being a long distance away from one's homestead. Don't think we are any better today.

Purpose of the trim is a good thing! I am sure someone may have already told you that the paint you have is in a liner....it lines the "stiff" pan. Just something that you can throw away....I clean my out. Love watching your work! Great job.

That was some smooth teamwork putting and painting the enclosure around the washer/dryer! Great use of the little space beside the dryer. Chuck was a little camera shy today, but happy to be part of the action. Loved seeing how Josh and the boys broke off for their soccer and Ellie and Frankie and Charlie had their own little game! So presh!!! Did the cover for the utilities start out blue and get switched to grey or was the sun making it look like a different color? Love the addition of the Chuck portrait. Enjoy the beautiful weather. We aren't there yet.

Love the color! Josh, you are right the Farmer’s Daughter has the best burgers!! My husband thought I was crazy driving two hours for a burger but it was a beautiful day yesterday for a road trip. As a long time painter it warms my heart to see someone using a quality angled paint brush instead of those $1.00 cheapies to cut in the wall paint. That's part of why Erin is doing such a good job. Obviously Josh, the non painter, must have been the one that bought the tray liner thinking it was a paint tray. LOL The shadow kiss was a wonderful video touch. Erin's videography has improved the videos immensely. If you've watched from the beginning, you can see the steady improvement. Like everything they do together, they want it to be as perfect as possible. No wonder that you now have over 800,000 subscribers. Keep up the good work!

I too aspire for this kinda marriage. I never been married, but wish it could compliment theirs as well.We are blessed to have them share their lives. Maybe we can find a better way too. tip from a 40 year high end painter edge and roll at same time by working up from bottom or down from top.. this way you don't get an overlap of area that has two coats and possible darker color in that area. they sell additives [flood] that extend dry time to give you more time to work without wet laps over dry to change color.
