Thanks for keeping your videos as what they are intended to be Chris. Raw, and real life. No loud, formatted and musical introductions, no 9 month schedule of what you'll be releasing and no edited in narrations explaining something you are clearly talking about in the video already. I can't speak for anyone else but I started watching youtube as a way of avoiding TV over the last couple of years. Now, some of the youtubers are making every attempt, it seems, to give their youtube videos a production feel as if they were commercial TV. You are doing it right and I think I can easily say that is why your channel is successful. Even your endings are perfect... fade to black and out of there! Anyway, just wanted to say thanks.

Well said, that's why I like Chris videos, he's not taking half of the the video telling what he's going to do and the long introduction that's why I don't watch them and there live feeds

There is so much going one here for different results that this is one of the more interesting clearing projects. A LOT to have to burn. I understand the need to get it started. It’s not the best time for the client if it’s just you burning and nothing else. Nothing you can do if the weather doesn’t co-operate. Seems lately the proposed rains have missed you. Happened to Brandon over at Elite the other day too. I had a guy show up at my acreage next door with the guest house/rental to do some final grade around the place before freeze up and he had a bucket that looked like a finishing bucket but he had bolted on a serrated grader blade section instead of a purely smooth blade. I asked him and that’s exactly what he had done and for most jobs he doesn’t need more than that for his machine. It is a John Deere, forgot the size, looks abou the size of the 160 or 140 from Volvo. It didn’t have a front blade. He is good with that machine and bucket. It makes soil so fine he sets it aside then tops off the rough grade with the soil and it like soils prepared for lawns specifically!! It is so nice I will get sod instead of seeding the area. I can water a little while depending on how cold it’s going to get. Being in the foothills/mountains on the east side of the Rockies in Alberta, Canada, we will be pushing it, but sod does well over the winter too. Just make sure it gets watered in the spring as soon as it thaws out! I get distracted sorry,,,,,, looking forward to “duelling” burn piles!! Hahaha. I also am very interested as to how slight the grade is going to be for proper drainage on this site,,,,,,,,. Take care, Eh Chris!!

Mr. Guins is for sure teasing us with not burning all that Bamboo yet. ;) Actually, I assume he's waiting for rain to keep from igniting the neighboring subdivision and woods. Looks great, sir - coming along nicely, as usual.

In addition to the improved surface water drainage, (which is a big deal), clearing the trees will increase visual area. There are so many trees on the other bank it will still be a nice outlook. And is there some bonus dirt for the house pad?

Hi Chris, love your channel!! I've noticed you get some massive burn piles that take days, weeks to burn down. I would have no idea how to do your job but you could get your burns to burn faster by letting it breath. Dig a trench the width and depth of your bucket and as long as you intend the fire to be, loosely cover the trench with larger logs and build the fire over it. It should burn much faster even when wet.... Just a thought if your interested..

As someone who lives one the High Plains it hurts my soul to see trees torn down like that. We do not have trees unless we plant them and coddle them! They are not even cut up for firewood. Such a different part of the country to live in. End result I am sure will be lovely. Machine work is phenomenal. Oh, I just saw the BEST Christmas tree go down!
