The reason that MUHAMMAD (pbuh) was chosen to be a merchant. Because there is no one more beneficial to human society than a merchant. Everything ... the chair that you are sitting on is from commerce. the fillings in your teeth are from commerce.The medication that is keeping your blood pressue optimum is from commerce. Everything that is beneficial to the material well being of the human being is from commerce. Commerce teaches you a good character. Because the most successful merchants are the one with good character. The merchant can never get angry because if he got angry the person buying from him will leave and the merchant will lose the sale. They always say "customer is king","customer is always right" .So it actually creates good character. Because simply you are forced to care what others want in order to fulfill your sale. Plus another reason is that If you want your commerce to be successful you must be trustworthy. If you don't people will stop doing business with you. Muhamed was called "altaqer elamin" meaning the honest merchant. This man was chosen as a prophet of the greatest peaceful messages to Earth. Now we have over 1.6 billion human-being who embrace this message. Few hours ago I was buying oranges from a merchant who embraces that same message. However this man gave me 3 rotten oranges hidden under the rest. If that merchant knew anything about this message he embraced, he would know that misleading or falsely persuading others; and the practice of deceit has no part in that message he embraced. We have millions of people like this man that embrace this heavenly message by name. They talk and do in its name. Although all their doing contradicts Prophet Muhammed's message. Bottom line: Please know your message that you decided to embrace, have clear view of it, know the teachings of the man behind this message and share it based on a clear understanding by your acts and behaviors before words and statements. There is not a second car or a third behind the locamotive. There are amongst men thousands who are directly connected to the locamotive - coupled heart to heart. Sheikh Hamza is clearly blessed, but it is now time to all be coupled, take bia't, make rabita to the locamotive, then mountains will be moved

I did this also out of conviction because this man courageously and honestly addresses all the problems that are controversially discussed in relation to Islam, also in other speeches and videos. Without wishing to offend anyone, I have to say that so-called scholars, such as Zakir Naik in particular, appear to be schoolboys in comparison with Sheikh Hamza Yusuf.

We have very few intellectual persons in today's world

It does differ, because in Quran Allah has said "laysa ka mithlihi shay"-nothing is compared or like HIM. Therefore, although we can translate other words, we can never even get near to the meaning of Allah. Rather, we should study the meaning of the word Allah, as HE described HIMSELF in the Quran and Hadith. These are called "Asmaa wa Siffaat"-Allah's names and Attributes. I have deeply studied the major religions of the world-trust me, nothing comes close.

Please Muslims, seek knowledge and spirituality and not important things.Change yourselves and God will change your conditions and will turne the hearts of non muslims to you. Attaining Excellence and achieving the best of action (to do worship fully as though you see Him seeing you in practice of the whole deen Ihsaan 4. The unknown time of the hour the unattainable dimension 5. The signs of the hour which are seen by the deterioration of the states of beings in word in action in behavior in mannerism in all aspects of man of the religious and the secular, in state and the best way to go about them maneuvering through them with the way he had taught them to deal with them as they unravel and behave in the light of the Prophets the siddiqeen shuhada and saliheen and what a good company for one to keep to walk their walk until the last hour.

There is no problems in Islam indeed but the problem is in the Muslim world, as Sheikh Hamza described it before "too many Indians and not enough chiefs" meaning we have a problem with our leaderships or lack of leaderships.

He should say Allah, not God-He should exclusivise Allah and not switch back and forth using two terms. We believe in on Allah only. Other faiths use different terms.

whats more (to add to kalkhiary's comment) there were non muslims there aswell, so to avoid confusion amongts non muslims, words like God and school are used in place of Allah and madrasah (like kalkhiary mentioned).
