If you could be any age, what age would you be? Sometimes we can be in a hurry to grow older and suddenly find that our life has passed us by. In "Timeless" we asked people to share with us about age, time, and life.

I'd be.. 6. I'd be 6, because then, social media wasn't my whole life. I wasn't pressured to be someone that I wasn't. I didn't waste days wishing I looked different, and I didn't feel the need to look amazing whilst going to Tesco. There was no responsibility, no regrets, no heartbreaks, no arguments. The person I was When I was 6, was who I used to be, before the world told me who to be.

This very moment I would go back to being five and having my father push me on the swing at our elementary school. It was one of my absolute favorite things to do. (Everyone hung out on the play ground). Unfortunately, in 2013 a girl I grew up with from my neighborhood took her own life early one morning by hanging herself on said swing set. They tore down the entire park. That now empty field represents growing up to be depressed adults and our childhood memories were wiped away.

Your childhood memories were not wiped away the perspective you look at it just changed. i mean i dont know you but it seems you still have good memories about it so why don't choose to see it in a different and more positive way. Think about the good times you had with you dad out there.

This is probably how I would see it too....but then I was thinking... perhaps you could, with others that used to play there come together to convince the town council or whomever is in charge to build a new playground where the old one was. Build it better! with lighting and some better security perhaps. Make it a safe place for everyone to come. Oh and get some swings that allow disabled people to partake in the fun. Maybe even have a phone where people can call a suicide hotline, the police, 911 for free in memory of the poor girl. This would be so beautiful and then when you pass by the place there will be new memories being made.

Cambria Tevis I agree with your entire comment and I think it’s the best outcome we can hope for. How beautiful it would be to have children laughing and playing instead of an empty area that will forever be haunted by what happened there.

I'm only 19, and I already wish I could go back and do some things differently. But we shouldn't go through life looking back at what we could have done differently. Things happened that way for a reason. I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for those things. We shouldn't have to look back and think of all the things we regret doing. Life is great, and I'm looking forward to the rest of my it.

1. Learn from your past, both the good and the bad, both the successes and the regrets. 2. Live in the present, where you have the opportunity right now to take the best step forward that you can given your present circumstances. 3. Set realistic goals for the future and be aware that those goals may need to change.

This is beautiful. The general conclusion of embracing life and living in the moment is something Im trying hard to do. I just turned 18, so Im seen as young but I've been fortunate enough to experience a lot of amazing things in life. The only issue was, I was so caught up with the things i didn't have and caring too much about people that were never thinking of me, that those moments are a blur. I wish I could go back, and take it all in and realise how lucky I was but maybe it all happened for the best, because at least from now on ill try my best to not repeat my mistakes.

I'm 15, but I wish I was 1. I understand why so many people my age want to be older, but being older equals to having more responsibilities. I want to start my life again... mainly because Singapore is such a stressful and competitive country to be in (I know countries like Korea is worse and I should be grateful -which I am-, but it's still hard.) and sometimes, being younger makes you more carefree. I don't know, maybe it's because I grew up being either the elder one of my sibling or I grew up being surrounded by people decades older than me. My cousins are either 10 years older or 10 years younger than me and I seldom meet my younger cousins so I always end up listening to the grown up conversations? I'm 15, but I feel like I'm 90 lol.

Age is just a number to me. I'm 22 but have the mind of a 10 year old. I love childish things, like Lego and Disney ect. I'm silly, laugh at silly things, I'm goofy, have a simple mind and just try to have an optimistic look on life. To me, my age just tells me how long I've been on the planet for. I don't see it as a guideline to how I should behave and what I should be doing in life. Say we lived on a different planet. Our age would be different because our age is based on how many times the earth has orbited the sun during our existence. It means nothing.

The best thing about my life today is the fact that I can honestly say I am happy about being my age. As a kid I wanted to grow up quickly and would always wish I was part of the 'big kids' and do what they did, like live independently and have grown up dinner parties. Now that I'm 24, I have learnt to appreciate living in the moment and to live life so it's not all just a blur. To love the bad moments with the good. To do the things which take me out of my comfort zone. To discover that I have a comfort zone! Basically, it's the realisation that I have gained some sort of 'grown up' wisdom, being able to be truly thankful for the lessons I've learned up until now and also being excited about the future!!

I'm 24 and would have never wanted to go back, like ever. If you stop and think about it ppl tend to remember only good and fun things that happened in the past and wish to relive them, but in my case if I had to go through all the struggle and effort I put into certain things and all over again had to make the sacrifices I had to make in order to be here where I am now... tnx but no thx... I share the similar motto as the black lady: "Live a life without regrets", which is contradictory with what she said before that "live in a moment"... I guess living in a moment is fulfilling and happy but has that accent of irresponsibility which comes to haunt you sooner or later in life... I guess that if I have always lived in a moment I would have regretted a lot of things later on in life, so I will just keep on going, working and improving towards sculpting myself into the best version of myself I can be...

The best thing about my life today is the fact that I got to wake up and see the ones I love, do the activities I love doing, and make another memory with my friends. Because with tomorrow, comes the possibility of not waking up and today being my last day to live life.

When the 67 year old at the end told me to enjoy my life right now as it was, I hugged a loyal ten year old Golden Retriever laying next to me in bed and smiled through the pain,. I've been super chronically ill for close to 5 years now, still lacking so many answers. Going to a well known hospital in July finally. It's hard not to compare yourself to others at my age, when your friends are married with children and you've had to sell your house and move back home with your parents but on the other hand, I might not be so close to them and have had so much time to spend with this adorable dog if not for this invisible illness. My time with this dopey hound is something I will always treasure for as long as I live. I'm soon to be 33 btw. :) Good health to all, treasure it while you got it - it is a GIFT!
