I wish people would stop saying the role of the Joker "haunted" him. I've heard Heath say more than once that the role of the Joker was the most fun that he has ever had playing a character. The truth is, he suffered from anxiety, insomnia, and was battling pneumonia at the time of his death. He was just trying to take care of everything all at once so he could still work. It was a horrible accident.

This was not supposed to happen. This was human error. I don't even think this was his fault. I blame this on the people that found him. Unbelievable. This man was not supposed to die.

He couldn't sleep he just could not shut off his creativity or the light inside. I suffer from insomnia so I can kinda relate I don't have that level of artistic creativity and superior acting abilities , but Sometimes I can't shut off the noise in my head so I take clamazapam a benzodiazepine, like Valium. Anyway several times years ago I came pretty close to dying a few times showed me a harsh warning. If anyone is suffering from chronic insomnia don't be afraid to ask for help

Nicholson had warned him against playing the role. I read that somewhere. I think he meant how much it would take out of him and sure enough, Ledger himself said it was too intense, that he got hardly any sleep and the pills he took didn't help.

This same thing happened to a friend of mine, My friends roommate was alive in the morning and I came by and picked my friend up and we went to work and we came back home and my friends roommate had died in his sleep from a prescription drug overdose. Crazy. Then we first called Pizza Hut and Mary Kate Olsen turned out to be the delivery girl.

26min to call 911 really angers me, he hadnt been prescribed 2 of the drugs he had taken that night and a doctor said in 2017 without those 2 added he would have survived, Mary Kate Olsen is known to have had issues with drug addiction since 2004 and when asked to be interviewed her lawyer said she only agreed to testify under the condition that she would have immunity and not be prosecuted... Do the math people, cause to me becomes clear that she helped him get the extra drugs

Everyone is saying that the joker killled Heath but no he was taking pills way before the role and yes he maybe wasnt in the right place to play the joker but it didn’t do anything to him it would’ve been good for him and yes the joker is a dark character but plz stop he died after a overdose that just wasn’t right for his body

its realy sad that hes dead but the reason why hes dead is because of the joker part in the dark knight. he took sleeping pills because he couldnt sleep is dad said the was only getting on average 3 hours sleep each night. he also took antidepressents because the part was so strenuous on the mind and body. i loved the movie and iv idolised him forever and we will all miss him R.I.P heath ledger
