Very good video! There is anyway an error, which i want to report. In 1176 italian cities gained independence from the Holy Roman Germanic Empire, after a battle known as "Battle of Legnano". After that battle, many italian "communes" began their history, such as Florence or Milan.

They didn't get independent but remained in the Kingdom of Italy (Holy Roman Empire). The peace between Frederick Barbarossa and the Lombard League secured them privileges and self administration (anyway never contested) but gave the Staufen emperors important income from taxes and dues. Not as much as they originally demanded based on the regalia but still substantial.

All cities of the Lombard League remained part of the Kingdom of Italy (Lombard Kingdom) and of the Holy Roman Empire. The Consules had to swear fealty to the Emperor/Italian King. They had to follow him into war. The Emperor remained the highest judge in Italy for the cities of the League too. The cities got the regalia (prerogatives) but had to pay a yearly or lump-sum to the Emperor. Barbarossa and his successors got a large amount of money from their rights in Italy.

Interesting history very rich, well I would love to see the rulers of Italy and Greece. Yet Germany once had their kings, and they now call their leaders chancellors that does the same function as the president, yet their is Napoleon Bonaparte that has nothing to do with Germany even though Napoleon is well respected in France. Even the worse world leader from Germany was Hitler and now Germany is unified and I hope the same happens for Korea, even though Germany is known for their cars. What will be interesting is to make another video of the following World Leaders: The UK Japan Korea Netherlands Belgium Ireland And these other countries also Canada Colombia Venezuela Ecuador Panama Bolivia Brazil Mexico China I bet Italy, Greece, and China will have a very long history so is Japan and Korea. Germany is the one of the Countrys who has one person as Head of State (thats the President) and one Person as Head of Goverment (thats the Cancellor) in the USA both of this Positions are held by the President

Germany used to be a symbol of strength but now it’s so pacifist it would probably lose a war with portugal from how small its army is, though economically it’s doing great.
