I love this video. Probably the best on KZfaq. I can assure you that vintage Timex’s do not have drilled lugs. They were too thin. You are changing my way of thinking. My Dad was a minimalist, I am not, yet.

I own and wear several Vintage Timex’s, 59,61,64,67,68. I couldn’t resist this monumental move from an American brand. I got the gold one and put mine on a vintage looking brown leather with goldish stitching, it’s stunning and my wrist is almost 8”. It converts to tux ready status in a flash but wears daily too.

The movement is a Sea-gull St6 handwinding and a stalwart which is easy to regulate. Timex made a great choice imo. I have this movement in a 1970s Orex ladies watch and it's still running perfectly.

I got the gold version Marlin today, love the 34mm size and it looks amazing but it has serious legibility problems, its only average outside in daylight and almost impossible to read indoors. I really can't understand how this happens and why Timex wouldn't make sure it was easier to read

Hi Hueguh, I just got my Marlin after waiting a long time for it to get back in stock. Your choice if brown leather is what got me interested in the Marlin in the first place a few years ago. However, now that i got mine, I cant seem to find a matching brown leather to go with it. Something is just off with the brown tone of the leather i got. Can you share where you got your brown leather? The texture and the brown is just right for the Marlin in my opinion. Many thanks.

I like everything about it except the size. 41mm isn’t that big, but since the watch is mostly dial it wears larger than I would like. Not a bad watch by any means, and I’m hoping they release a 36-38mm version of the bambino.

Loving the videos you are putting out. Question for you on different topic than the watch. Your chinos, are they tailored after you buy them or do you buy them with the perfect fit? I’m having an issue with mine where they are just a little too long (even at 32 inseam) to where I get a sloppy/floppy roll when I roll. When I don’t roll them they are a bunched mess. I just don’t want to get them hemmed to where they look like floods without being rolled.
@Hueguh

The BR chinos are the one pant I don't have to get tailored amazingly. I clean roll definitely needs the correct inseam length. A tailoring video is in the pipeline.
