Just over 4 years ago I was looking for a medium sized SUV and after driving all the major brands i was persuaded by a taxi driver friend to test drive the Karoq. As soon as i sat in the driver's seat i was taken back by the class and quality of the interior which set it aside from the competition. The driving experience was comfortable and relaxing and smooth and quiet. Everybody who travels in it comments on how quiet and comfortable it is. Reliability has been good with no problems. The karoq has since won many awards and is a pleasure to own.

I’ve had mine a few months now, replacing a pre-facelift diesel version. It’s a nice car, does everything I need of it. The hubcaps went in the loft fairly quickly, and I’m not sure the active dampers do a great deal… Canton is very much worthwhile, so tick that box (if Skoda allow you) and then wait 9 months for the car to be built!

There are USB-C ports in the back. You have to flip up a cover in the bottom of the middle panel between the front seats. Also with the full configuration, in the middle of the panel there would be controls for turning on and off the heating in the back seats instead of that empty space. :)

Hi Tim "medvěd", another great video. Although not a sensible choice, I do love this car, especially the sound 😁

Hi Tim, great video :) I just wondered if you thought the bi-turbo diesel engine in the previous Kodiaq VRS suited it better than this petrol unit? When you said in the video that you lived with the diesel Kodiaq VRS for 6 months I went to look for the video on your channel but there isn't one :(

All are missing features unless you wait a long long time for Skoda to build one that has what it's meant to have from the get go ! Also the gimmicks of door protection is not covered by warranty ! Yes ! Read the fine print and they get broken by themselves within weeks or months. Just join their group Facebook pages and see. I'm not even mentioning the boot water leaks and dsg dramas

0:55 Brollie in the door. Why doesn't every car have this? Costs next to nothing and practical.

Yeah, I think they can be pulled off. Bit weird though, they make it look like a super-efficient model rather than a sporty one

Your conclusion is actually exceedingly Czech 🤓 They buy the sensible, practical versions of cars in general. You don’t see much M-Sport/AMG/RS/Line/VRS outside Praha 👀 I have my own Czech person at home. They’ve been here too long though, so now behave like a good English person. Ie : They waste all their money on posh versions of German cars 🙄🤣🙄 Holý

Tim! This or superb sportline wagon for a two small kids family from the land of bluey!?
@TimRodieDrivesStuff
@TimRodieDrivesStuff 2 ай бұрын
Either is excellent, depends whether you prefer the height of an SUV when you’re wrestling little ones into the car! For me I’d go Superb. More boot, more efficient. Sportline can be a bit firm for me though on the Superb

Close to top of the range, but I see they've deleted the pop-out door protectors. Disappointing. My 18 plate Edition 150 TD DSG 4x4 has all those features + the big pan roof, simply one of the best cars I've ever owned, that after 7 years of Yeti ownership. Fuel cons over the 31k miles racked up so far has averaged at 42.3 mpg and about 1/2 litre of oil every 10k miles. More than happy with both figures. Swap it for an EV anytime soon? No chance.Usual disclaimers apply, just a very satisfied owner, personal car, not company, not affiliated to any dealership etc. etc. Replaced the original Pirelli Scorpion Verde tyres with Michelin Cross Climate at 30k miles, much better all round.
