tickets are previously printed and government changed the prices recently. There is no any special taxes for foreigners.. we also pay the same as you paid to this ticket. The train station re use these tickets without throwing out. That's the reason.

@@timtense still we use the old Edmonson ticket system. the ticket material is being imported from Netherland and printed here in SL. so, there is a considerable cost in it. Since there is no way of altering the printed fare on a ticket, they issue the old tickets but charge you the latest fare.

Hey Tim brother just for your knowledge what you ate at the restaurant call "short eats" there are lots of short eat types you can try (eggs rolls, fish rolls, vegetables roti, sausage bun........) when your dining in the restaurant they are usually give you more than what you ordered but you only have to pay what you had there. Then they count how many foods left in the plate and only charge what you ate. So next time don't confuse 😂 pay what you ate. Hope to see more awsome video just like this brother in Sri Lanka.

@@shootingfromthehip3600 That period restaurant gave only what did you order if you needs more to eat you have to ask from the waiter. If food was leftover that period you have to pay that and waiter just throw that away. Now things are changed back to normal.

In many fast food restaurants in sri lanka they will offer you all types of short eats and it’s normal here.. you just eat what you want and they will only charge for that!! 😅

6:16 it's not about a tax. recently government increase the ticket price but they used the old tickets which has been already printed the old price. (until they clear the stock)

Normally, Street restaurant is served some shorties ( Roties ) in one plate. Meanwhile you can ask from the waiter served another plate for eat. The tickets are previously printed, The government is increased the ticket prices recently.They are using back stock tickets and there are no any special taxes for foreigners.

Tim actually the train ticket price is correct. Due to recent price revised may be new tickets may getting late to print with revised fair.. no foreign tax at all. 🙂
