A very nice documentary following Tina Turner during the preparation of her Twenty Four Seven world Tour in 2000. The documentary focuses a lot on rehearsals, backstage organization and on Tina's special backup singer Gloria Rueben

Time flew by! I was in the sixth grade And went to see her in concert with my mom on this tour. I fell in love with her. She was my fav at even that young age lol

It doesn't seem possible. And also I don't think I've ever seen Tina in a T-shirt so this was great. And clearly she would never even think of having her singers lip-sync so they really had to be athletes to sing while dancing

I remember reading that Gloria left ER to go on tour with Tina and be backup singer for her and I thought that was ridiculous. She didn't really bounce back.
