Having blind puppy is priceless. My mom’s dog got preganant…so she delivered one blind dog that I adopted. I had her for nearly 14 years - the best dog I ever had. She lead very happy life…you never know she’s blind! She has great senses of hearing and the smell…other things. She never bumped into furniture…knowing her way around, it’s pretty amazing! I had terrible time grieving over her passing for long time. She’s forever in my heart.

So sorry for your loss. We adopted a blind poodle x boy. He was 4 months old when we got him. He will be 3 years old in May. There's not a day that goes by where we aren't in Awe of him. His personality, his intelligence, he's a little love bug, loves playing fetch with his toys. Has been amazing watching him map out the house & the yard, he haa so much information stored in his little mind. We're blessed having him in our lives. Can imagine the loss you feel they are part of the family. 😢❤

This is so precious. The way he bounced and danced in front of Ryder (I think it was Ryder) like he was ready to get down and play. Without even seeing it’s a goat he’s ready for fun! Adorable!

I love bumblebee he is so adorable and he still cocks his head from side to side just like any other puppy when they're looking at you and curious or confused and he doesn't have to see you with his eyes he still looking right at you cocking his head from side to side he knows where you are he smells his toys, and I absolutely loved his day in the grass it was so exciting for him and he just had the zoomies of all Zumiez. Bumblebee you are a miraculous little dude and a happy little miracle at that your life is going to be wonderful you're never going to let it be anything less.❤❤😂

I have had the privilege or sharing my home with 2 blind pugs. There was never a moment when I wished I had put the pugs down, as suggested by family members. We learned how to communicate with each pug. Both loved walkies, car rides, the kids, and going on adventures, I had a dog beg in every room, and these became safe places for them. Potty training was never an issue. Regular training was not an issue because my dogs always trusted me? As I trusted them.

A dog bed in every room, you meant, right? The dogs didn’t sit in each room begging? So great you gave them a chance, as I see it, dogs handle disabilities much better than us humans, because they just handle whatever straight on, with NO prejudice! E.g. if they get a wheelchair, they just go off running, like «Yeeeeeehaaa», not «OMG, I’m chained to this awful thing» like so many humans… They rather see what a fantastic thing their chair is, a thing that sets them free compared to the option (no chair)!!! So glad you let your blind dogs get a chance at life, not being able to see is not a biggie for them. It’s just a biggie in our human heads, but luckily we too can free ourselves from that!!! ❤❤❤🤗

I've adopted two senior, blind rescue dogs. They were, without doubt, the loves of my life. It's not harder to adopt a blind dog, just different. Good news! They never try to run away or tug hard on a leash.

This is when you fall in love with a disabled pup. His little face is priceless, and his little dance is priceless as well as his lamb hops. Usually I am not keen on little dogs due to them forever biting me. But this little guy has gone straight to my heart for the way he uses his ears and smell to get along with. I hope he has a wonderful life even if he doesn't see any of it - he will feel it, sweet little thing.

A dog born blind can have a great life with a good family. The dog doesn't know he can't see. He learns other ways of navigating the world other than sight. That puppy thinks his world is just fine, thank you very much! He's a real cutie and the people who have him are terrific folks.

So adorable! I had a blind dachshund that lived happily for ten years, Annie. She was the sweetest girl ever. Her sense of smell was how she recognized loved ones. She was a eager eater. She ran, barked, played with her siblings, and pottied outside daily. She was easily treated like the others that could see. She was such a happy girl just like Bumblebee!🐾
