This was so helpful and I love both of the variations you demonstrated. I was fascinated by the bark color and camouflage pattern of a Sycamore tree recently, sketched it in pencil, but hesitated to finish it. Now, I have the tips to complete it! I love the shading tips you shared on the left page using just ink. I'll use my dip pen, too. Thanks for sharing!

Trees are my favorite thing to do. Always felt like I was doing something wrong if I use the Macron and then went back to painting. It was nice to hear your honesty about "losing track" I get that too. It's so great when artists share their imperfections it really helps the rest of us! Love your work. THANKS

Can you put a link in for the dip pen you use, I can see the ink but not the pen thank you, I love your videos thanks for sharing your knowledge with us all. Linda U K

@@lindametcalfe9549 Thank you! I do have the link in the description…but it’s called a nib holder and the brand is Tachikawa. My nib holder or dip pen is just a different color. Hope this helps! 😊
