I have you tried the Ouidad coil infusion good shape defining gel (purple tube)? I think it's marketed towards the super curly to coily types, but I don't let that stop me. I like the ingredients list. I have the travel size but haven't used it yet. It looks like it probably has very light hold, but I plan on pairing it with something else anyways. Just wondered your what your thoughts were on it (if you've tried it, I mean) I also have had no luck with Ouidad gels, despite everyone else seeming to, and I always like the ingredients. But the only thing I've been able to use is their white bottle climate control gel, and even then I only use it to SOTC mixed with moroccan oil. I find that helps humidity.

I haven’t tried the coil infusion yet. My local pro beauty supply doesn’t have them in stock. There’s been supply issues for awhile but the pro beauty supply shelves are starting to look like the toilet paper aisles at the start of COVID! I definitely want to try them out though. I liked the curl immersion line that these replaced. I don’t pay attention to marketing towards certain curl types either. I LOVE the Ouidad gels! Well the brand in general actually. If I had a salon, I’d carry Ouidad. Hopefully the coil infusion will work for you! I’ll keep an eye on your Instagram for the results/verdict.

At least I had ordered it prior to my no buy restart lol. So tomorrow will be a full week since the last product I purchased. Almost 25% of the way there!

I use a mousse but I'm adding a freezing foam...does it matter which I apply first? The freezing foam is new to my routine for extra hold. Thanks!

Generally speaking, it works best to go from lighter hold (or no hold) to strongest hold. If the foam has more hold than the mousse then I’d say to layering it over the mousse. Thank you for watching!
