I'm really trying to give it my all best, and create my own luck, but now there not approving me to sell in a toy category with a simple product I purchased, soooo frustrating. Hey Tatiana, I watched your video and many others, unfortunately I didn’t find the answer I’m looking for, it’s all the same information, I will ask the same question that I asked them. I know Amazon wants a credit card that has a history and nothing new, that being said can someone add his personal credit card with history yet a different bank or a new bank for the transaction

The problem is not all of their rules are published. They can kick you for any reason even if they just don’t like your name.

Hi Tatiana! Thank you for the video! I do have a follow up question on one of the points you made. When you first creat a professional account, it asks you what type of business am I (“none, I am an individual”, “charity”, “private owned business”, “publicly owned business”, “state owned business”) What do you recommend I chose? I do not have a set business name yet. But I would like to sell selling. Do you suggest I wait and make a company name or use my own name and click “none, I am an individual” business type option? (I am located in NYC) Thanks so much!!

Hi Tatiana! Is deactivation and suspention of the account the same thing? I submitted the utility bill after the deactivation. But the status is still the same - your accoun is deactivated. Should I wait (and for how long) or should I do somethnig?

Hi Tatiana, Just to let you know in Amazon Europe is possible to change the company but works different than US, we just have an option on the seller central to transfer the business entity and now is just easy as US but it wasn’t simple like that some months ago

Thank you Tatiana! can you make a video about budgeting for a prospective amz store and also whether it is a good idea or not to find angel investors for such a project? another question is how to estimate what would be better - an amazon fba store (with prime or without) and a shop on a different platform (beyond the known fact about more control and CS quality as well as newsletter / community base). for those who do not have yet a newsletter and a big pool of people waiting for those products. What I don't like about amazon as a buyer is that often some products come in a defective box / with a defective cover (if a book) or something just is not working. I rarely return products but of course would want make sure my items are in the best possible shape. How much control over that a seller has after the items have been shipped to the inventory storage? Tatiana

So if I have a product I want to be able to send from my house if Im approved to sell it, then I cam bypass the FBA of it? My parents have a barbecue sauce business and they've done it all legally but they don't sell on the internet yet. They sell in mom and pop shops. Im trying to research for myself about FBA, but also asking for them.

Thanks for the info Tatiana. If using my driver's license for ID, does the state/adress have to match the state/adress of the companies physical address? Example: driver's license is California, and business address is Oregon.

Hi Tatiana, love your vids! They’re very informative, helpful and well delivered! I have a question if anyone can help! I’m trying to setup my account but I cannot connect my phone # to the sellers account since it’s already connected to my regular Amazon account. I asked Amazon for help but they just keep telling me I need a new number with a new email for the sellers account. Any suggestions? Do I need a whole other phone just for this? I don’t want to use a family members because if FBA goes well for me, I’d like for them to try it as well.

6:13 regarding new companies / new bank accounts, Amazon says about business licenses - " must be valid for atleast 45 days from the time of registration". So, if anyone is planning to form a company - should plan 45 days ahead before signing up in seller central, I guess. Great info Tatiana as always!

The only option I can choose is to register as business account, I have to register a new company to register for the Amazon Seller Central account...

Hi Tatiana! Quick question for you, when you mention setting up your account as company that has been around for awhile and has history, what does that mean? Like for instance I cant name my company a big brand name ( coke, Maybelline etc) So what do you mean by setting up your account that has history?

I just went through changing my entity for the EU markets recently. I originally registered with a different company that I didn't end up setting up a full LLC for but wanted to register with my LLC later. Took me over a month to get it fixed but in case anyone comes across this, you can talk to them over chat to get them to re-enable the Entity field editing OR you can open a case with support requesting that they enable editing for you. If you walk through the issues with them over chat just be aware that they're 8 hours or so ahead of us, so you may have to wake up at 7am to catch them, but it's worth it to have them talk you through any other Account Verification issues you may be having. I was trying to use my EIN number, for example, but had no idea I kept getting rejected because in my state the EIN number is issued on a different document than my Articles of Organization and they needed the field to match up with the Entity Id from my Articles document. Anyway, hope this helps other folks!

Hi Jazz, Many thanks for this tip, but how can you get on chat to amazon? They didn't verity/approve my account application. I am now trying to get them to reconsider my documents (which I have initially submitted in the wrong format) but all I can get from them are automated replies which don't resolve the situation and is quite frustrating.

Carla Goncalves beyond frustrating, same thing happened to me. Where you able to get it verified? I set up a new account under a new name and telephone number and recently sent a request to close my other account and praying to God that it doesn’t raise any flags for my new account. Not an expert here but maybe you should close your account first(I should have done that first😒) and then set up a new account with fresh email and number! Disclaimer: do your research before taking my advice

Hey Tatiana, in this video you said it's not a good idea to open a second account. I've opened my seller central account only to realize after that the country where I'm currently living isn't on the list of countries allowed to sell on Amazon (so I'm suspended), BUT my origin country is on the list! Unfortunately, I have already submitted all the documents with my info from the country where I'm living, but I thought I could give it a shot a submit again all the documents, but with the info from my origin country this time. Do you think in this case it would get too messy to try and change all the info in my current account, would you rather close that account and open a new one? Thank you for your precious advice!

Hi Tatiana, first, I would like to thank you for the very informative video. I had already created a merch by Amazon account in 2018, to create designs to be printed on T shirts. Because I didn't really have knowledge how to generate income, and after years I just assumed my account would be closed. After watching this video I went back to try and log on to my account and I was able to get in. I would like to do drop shipping business using Amazon. Can I convert my old account to the new type I want or do I need to create a new account specific for drop shipping? Thank you for your support!

Hi! I had an old seller central account that I am trying to reactivate and when I click on the button that says register now nothing happens. It doesn't go to a new window or anything. I have been trying for a while with no luck. I cannot send a message because it requires me to be logged into my seller account to send a message. Any advice? The only thing I feel I can do now is start a whole new account and you suggested not to.

Hey Tatiana, hope you read this and you can suggest me what to do. I really want to start with this, I'm super motivated and already on track, already did my research, spoke to the suppliers for the product I have in mind, waiting for my sample and in the meantime, trying to set up my Seller Central account, which is way harder than I thought, it's been deactivated until I upload everything they want... the problem is understanding WHAT! When uploading the utility (internet) bill, there's a mandatory check saying something about having "a valid credit card on the document", so on the bill... I don't know how it works in the US but here in Malta you don't have this kind of info on a bill, do you have any idea what they mean by that? Is that something I'm missing here? I tried to get in touch with them to get answers by the "send an appeal" system seems horrible and not working properly...

I’m starting to gather everything to open an Amazon seller central account. I would really like to start an LLC, but it would be a new business. I watched your video and you suggested waiting to open the LLC because it would be new. Would it be hard to get it excepted by Amazon with a new LLC? I have a bank account that I’ve had for years so I can use that one to open my seller central Amazon. Thought that would help to get account opened. Also I hate to open an LLC down the road because that will close the door to me selling in other countries like Germany and the UK. I’m not sure, what would you recommend?

hello gorgeous, Once i get a product i want to sell and have them ship it in my house so i can inspect it, if i like the product, and its the same exact product, but say, 200 of it, can I buy one UPC code , but get 200 of the same code and put it on each product myself? so i purchase one code, make copies of it and i can tape each code onto the product then ship it to amazon? and i can post my own pics of the product on my page or does Amazon do that too? thank you!

Very useful video!! I have a question: I am about to open my seller account for the first time as an Individual Professional. My deposit method is a Payoneer account. What happens if my address in Seller Central is written in a different order compared to my address written in my Payoneer Account Statement? For example, in Seller Central the Country and Zip Code are shown at the beginning, but in my Payoneer Account Statement, the Country and Zip Code are shown at the end. Will this be a problem for verification??

I just have one question, does it matter if some of my documents do not contain my middle name? as it is usually optional everywhere. for example my drivers license contains my middle name but my bank info and business registration does not. I’ve been approved! But I can’t get past their brand registry exemption. I am creating and manufacturing my own product and created my own “brand name/logo” on the packaging. I just reactivated it a few weeks ago because I want to sell my Etsy stuff on Amazon as well. If I need to make a bunch of changes to the account like my new business name, new business bank account, new store name, new email, new married name, new address *and* add my LLC...how do you suggest I do this without getting shut down? I heard in your video that you mentioned it's best not to make a lot of changes when updating a new account b/c Amazon could suspend it? Would LOVE your advice on this very much 🙏🙏

I have 3 different seller accounts that I set up by accident, YES by accident. I was logged into my regular buyer amazon acct then another day when I tried to visit SC it kept that info when I thought I was logged in with my other details, then I have one from over a year ago. I am finally ready to start selling and I don't know what to do with these 3 accts, they keep logging into the wrong one in my browser. Should I ask amazon to delete 2 of them? Thanks!

Ughhhh I uploaded jpg for my DL and bank statement. I didn’t see anywhere on there acceptable file formats. Which would make no sense since you are able to take a picture from the application. Is it usually an instant approval or does it take a couple days? I got my verification postcard and it says I will hear from them within 2 days.

You can use a virtual business address so your personal address isn’t shown.

Such a great, informative video. I was just wondering if anyone can give me some further advice on here. I live in Ireland and I'm going to set up my seller account in the next for weeks for FBA. I'm wondering if I should make my seller account with Amazon UK because I fear there might be issues with BREXIT? Because of BREXIT I will be shipping my products to an FBA centre in Paris to avoid any issues as both Ireland and France are still in the EU. So should I look to create a seller account through Amazon France or would it still be ok to set one up with Amazon UK? Thanks so much

Hello Tatiana, Thank you for giving this great topics Please, when Amazon send a message after several time of trying to update my personal documents on seller account because the PDF issue which is I didn’t use it yet to sell on their platform! The message says:”Unable to verify account information We are unable to verify the documents you provided. As a result, you may not sell on Amazon. We cannot give you more information about this matter, and we may not reply to further emails about this decision” 😮 Please, Any suggestions to reactivate my account, I didn’t even star to sell! What a chance :( Thank you for help

So quick question. We have a personal Amazon account that we use for purchaing on Amazon. We also about a year ago created a company amazon account for doing Print on demand Shirts through the Merch by Amazon program. Should we just go ahead and start a new account in my wife’s personal name if we want to do FBA. Or to we have to log in usinng our personal account or the company account used for Merch by Amazon, which never took off really. However our Merch by Amazon did completely get approved and banking info got all set up. I just do not want to do the wrong thing.

In my country(Lebanon) they stopped giving credit cards, so can my professional account be accepted if I am using a debit card instead(visa or master card)? If not, can I use the credit card of someone else living in another country so the owner of the card will not be the same as the owner of the account, can this be accepted? Also if not, can I have a partner in the company from another country and use his credit card?

Hi, Tatiana, I have an account in UAE (amazon.ae) and need to open an account in USA, I registered as an individual but every time keep rejecting documents cannot be verified? I submitted UAE National ID and Phone number plus UAE bank statements which I used for the amazon.ae account itself (only difference provided a latest bank statement). Unfortunately they do not allow me to link my UAE account to US hence had to apply with new credentials but keep rejecting? what could be the reason?

Hello Tatiana, i’m having issues receiving my address verification code in the mail. Even when it’s labeled as “delivered” on my portal it never shows up in my mailbox. Im on my 3rd attempt and im not sure what to do. I’ve contacted seller support so many times and they just keep copying and pasting very generic responses. Is anyone else having an issue with this?

What about bank statements? I gave my drivers license but I am having real problems with my bank statement. I go through chime and they have the official bank through Bancorp and they wanted the official bank name on the statement and I tried calling chime about it and they couldn’t do that so I decided to open up for a new bank account. It’s frustrating and I don’t know what to do. I have history with Chime yet I can’t get the official bank name. I have a local bank account with an official bank address though.

What if a few weeks ago I was trying to create an Amazon seller account but I didn't finish it, in the option where Amazon asks you if you want to sell as an individual or a company was where I stopped and said why not better make an LLC before? so I stopped what I was doing and closed the page, is that valid as an existing account?

Hi Tatiana! Thank you for an informative video. I’m a US based seller. I’m selling in the US. But Amazon UK account got suspended even though I’ve never sold anything in the UK marketplace. Amazon UK is asking me to provide Business Registration Extract. My corporation is registered in the US. How and where can I get Registration Extract?

I know this is late but it takes about a week to get your account verified. But if you plan to have your supplier ship straight to Amazon you have to start the order and shipment on your account and send the shipping information to your supplier so they can send the products to the right place/places
