Love watching your videos. What I would like to see is a video without music or at least limited or with lower volume. It seems a number of KZfaqr seen to think loud is better but when you think about it when a commercial starts it’s loud so what do you do you mute it or change channels.

I used to doo this, but found a string line down the sidewall gives you a visually correct form set. I never trust the wall crew to get it right to use the 3 4 5 method

Should have put a vertical joint on the edge since you had the horizontal line carried across it.

Sure is a lot of houses with gray siding in that neighborhood. I wonder if some of those were spec houses ? Tip for anyone buying string for running forms or anything in construction, get braided line only.

When laying out our paint booths we use the same formula or procedure.

We always use liquid color in the buckets . rip open the top and pour it in . no bags stuck anywhere

When forming steps out of a door I always try to make the steps either 16 " tread or 24" tread . space permitting of course. It gives you a larger area to stand when opening the door with a tray full of fresh grilled meat

Hi Tom Just a tip have the driver drop his pusher axle when going over something you don't want to brake . It will spread the load . Of course they automatically ( or should ) raise when the truck is in reverse ,but like you said it was a lot lighter then . I was wondering why you didn't make a large landing at the door , then the second step ? Was that the home owner's decision ?

curious why the small step outside the door. Wouldn't it be better to have at least a 36" pad to walk out on before stepping down out the door? the steps just look small and don't seem to integrate into the patio. Looks good overall!

like the tip using 2x4 to share up off the house.you can pour concrete up to the siding ,it won't hurt it?can you put the antiquing color on it even if the concrete is dry?

Watching the patio being squared reminds me of a joke. ( An expensive piece machinery would not work. Calling in a tech, he examines the machine/problem and says he can fix the issue for $25K. The price is agreed upon. Taking a hammer he taps the machine once and it immediately starts. The owner is upset and wants a bill for his service, claiming he got ripped off. The expert tech. hands the owner a bill. One dollar for the hammer tap and $24,999 for learning the knowledge on where to tap !)

About 50 years ago more or less my grandparents neighbor had a concrete driveway and when they had a garage built the contractor had to come back and replace his driveway after the concrete truck destroyed it. Nowadays I doubt that would happen
