I got a younger sis that get her azz beat & hospitalized every 5 months from the last 10yrs. I learned if you can't love yourself then you can't love me. Can't save her, she doesn't want to be saved.

Judge Mathis might be old school with his viewpoints and moral standing a lot of the time, but his opinion on this is just ridiculous. The plaintiff was clearly saying that each time the defendant has issues in her relationships or makes a foolish mistake she runs to her big sister (the plaintiff) and expects her to fix everything, which drags the plaintiff away from her own life, and that time fixing everything is then replayed each time by an ungrateful little sister who the next day jumps back into the same toxic relationships and the cycle starts over. Realistically the plaintiff needs to cut her sister's dependency on her off. The next time her younger sister comes crying because her boyfriend has cheated on her, or called her names, or stolen from her, she needs to make it very clear that unless that man physically or sexually assaults her, she wants nothing to do with whatever is going on, because she knows her little sister will go back to him at the end of the day. Not because she's "in love" but because she's addicted to the drama. There's always something going on if you date a career criminal, and that drama can become addictive for some.
