The biggest complaint I've heard from guys buying the 15" vs the 20" handles is running out of "real estate" on the sleeves too soon. Yeah, the 20" are LONG, but ALL Olympic loadable dumbbell handles are long and awkward, really. The trade-off is they're cheap, and you've already got a head start with your Olympic plates. I think if you are really going to use them, it's wise to pick up more 2.5's, 5's and 10's (in multiples of 4, so you can load both handles). 25's work, too, but the 35's and 45's are pretty ginormous and awkward on a dumbbell handle. Anyway, that's been my experience!😎👍

Good review. I had actually bought the Fitness Gear ones at the store last saturday ,and I was a little overwhelmed over the length. I'm going to keep them, though ,and also order the Titan ones, and only use the FG ones for incline chest press, and bent over lat pulls. Don't like doing the arm curls with the long ones.

Just found your channel as I am in the market for dumbbell handles and not sure which to get. Liked your video a lot and will subscribe. I've got to have knurling (cross hatch) on the shaft of the handles and would like to have chrome on the sleeves but I'm just like U in that I need the sleeves longer and the shaft shorter. I'm trying hard to find that in the 15 inch size as I dont like the 20 inch ones they are just too cumbersome and long. Keep getting man

Rogue has the DB25-10 which has a 4 inch loadable sleeve length. It's the only 15 inch dumbbell handle on the market with that much sleeve length as far as I know. It's very expensive, but I'm considering returning my Titan handles and getting the Rogues instead since there's just not enough room for strong, safe collars on the Titans. I want to max my 15 inch handle out at 65 lbs. There's ALMOST enough room for 1.5 inch collars, but not quite. It's a dumb design by Titan honestly. The handle is way too long. It could easily be an inch shorter and the sleeves could be 4 inches.

I wish the handle was an inch shorter and the sleeves were 4 inches! Ugh, would be so much better!
