Just bought one, and the video is accurate - well made, heavy duty, cuts away most domestic problems. Only 2 things to add - 1, doesn't come fully assembled, but you just have to put the chain around the bar. 2, doesn't come with oil to start you off. Only safety point is - don't hold above the height of your shoulders at the controls end, as balance and stability are compromised.

Hi peeps,i have a laylandi bush that needs a couple of feet lopping off the top,i have a podium to stand on,would this do the job ?,my hedge trimmer isnt man enough for the big branches.TIA :-)

Not a good idea to have it plugged into the power at the very beginning whilst removing the guard and putting hands close to blade. I would always unplug before putting my hands anywhere near the blade then plug in as about to use.

That bar is tiny.
