This video was recorded April 14th of 2023, during the 111 anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. At the same time, Honor and Glory released their remastered real-time sinking animation. So, to commemorate the moment, I recorded the whole ordeal in a Discord voice call. It all took place in the Historic Travels Server. Fans of Historic Travels I watched the whole thing from start to finish and it was a fun experience.

1:54:45 which is exactly, what survivors said they saw. And one the reason why she takes a bit to go after reaching this angle, is also from accounts. Eva Heart, said that the stern, after reaching this angle, that the ship stood up in the air for quite a long time. Others testified that estimating that she stood in this position for about 5 minutes. This is as something that THG picked up on, and they put it in the final animation

U were talking about the stern going down on her port side was the way the chief bakers take on the sinking but he was fairly drunk. The stern reached a near to a complete vertical angle and was the height of a 15/16 story building.

The D-door being closed during the sinking makes sense. The door was meant to be shut, but when it reached the ocean floor, it swung open due to the fact it wasn't locked. If the door had been opened as the ship sank and descended to the ocean below, it would have been torn off from the hull. I'm not sure whether it's helpful, but Titanic Animations provided the information that was needed. But I think Titanic Honor and Glory was leading to that but hasn't explained or maybe it might of been a glitch, but I guess you've got the info that might explain the reason to why it was shut.

I didn’t get why out of nowhere many people, including people like James Cameron, floated the stern capsizing theory. None of the survivors reported that she did that, they all said it went nearly vertical as if it was pointing to the sky, and corkscrewed beneath the surface, picking up speed as it went. Yet, it was animated capsizing for nearly a decade. Really odd.

I think they took the testimony from the baker who was drunk. Also, it's been assumed how other ships sink since they sink on their sides due to the buoyancy being thrown off from water entering. But once you read all the survivor accounts, you learn how the ship actually sank, instead of relying on just one testimony. The survivors describe what they saw. With THG gaining more information than ever, we're starting to understand this stuff better. The capsizing theory was something people started to take for granted because of the ships 9-degree list to port. It wasn't until we learned about the ship returning to an even-keel towards the end. Also, when you think about where the ship broke, it was right where its reciprocating engines were, and those engines were one of the heaviest things in the ship and with them in the stern it would've been impossible for the stern to roll over with those heavy engines in there. All in all, the survivor accounts are how we know what happened. Hopefully this answers your question.

I can understand people hanging on the outside of the stern when its going down ,but why people would be hanging on the side of the ship well before it sank ,on a big ship like that with so much room is movie affect, and i dont think is realistic. I know i would not be.
