Interestingly, there is almost a sister to No 12. It was built from the same design but with a 1-inch difference in driver diameter for use on the Tenana RR out of Fairbanks, AK in 1919 for the Alaska Engineering Commission building the Alaska RR from Anchorage to Fairbanks until the bridge over the Nenana River was built so the Tenana RR could be standard gauged.
