In preparation for some huge battles in the quarter-final first legs of this season's Champions League, the guys preview Tuesday's clashes.
Arsenal take on Bayern Munich at the Emirates in front of a Gooner only crowd, whilst Real Madrid play Manchester City at the Bernabeu.
Will the psychological edge of last season's victory help Guardiola and co to another Champions League semi-final, or can England starlet Jude Bellingham leave his mark on the biggest stage?

Real Madrid would feel better than City making this a one match shootout at the Etihad?? No way. City are currently unbeaten at home in the UCL over the last 30 consecutive matches. Their strategy literally is to keep it tight and decide this tie at home.

13:36 The balance is shifting though. Since 09-19 The Spanish league was better. Serie A was better in the 90s, then Spain-Italy-England fought for control from 00-08. But when Messi stepped up from Eto-Deco-Gaucho shadow and Cr7 joined Madrid, Spain won out. Italy had Calciopoli and Arsenal fell off which affected the EPL a lot with LFC not really competing. So it was just Utd and Chelsea -City who were unproven till Chelsea won one in 2012. Utd fell off too after Fergie. So it was only Chelsea in Europe for EPL. Now however City have won one and Arsenal are coming back. Hopefully they get one. Liverpool have been strong for 4 years now. WH and Villa are competitive. Newcastle is on the rise. Maybe Sir Jim can revive Utd. LFC have to nail Klopp's replacement. La liga is falling off with Barca financial issues. Italy fell off with only Inter being competitive. AC are trying. Juve fell off. Bayern killed off the Bundesliga by buying everyone off from within. England can consolidate if they take advantage of other leagues resets. They are also getting the best coaching talent. Arteta, Pep, De Zerbi, cup guy Emery. Conte and Tuchel were there maybe they comeback to the Newcastle -WH jobs. Amorim may be joining etc.

They under estimating bayern who now are prioritising champions league coz the league is gone for them. They rested 8 players over the weekend and will go full throttle against Arsenal

I think city go through, but it won’t be easy. Footballers have pride and that 4-0 tanking last season will have scared and marked even the 14 times champions. And I feel for themselves and there personal pride as much for the club and the fans as well. they will push harder and say we might loose but not 4-0. So I’d have Madrid winning the first game by one goal then city reversing it a the Etihad and going through just for an all English game vs arsenal.

I can't see _this_ Arsenal conceding at home. But I do see Bayern, who do not have the capability of playing through the middle, to constantly send long balls to the flanks, where they do have talent. If the fullbacks do their jobs, and Arsenal control the second balls, then it's going to be '23-'24 business a usual at The Emirates - oops, sorry, The Arsenal _Stadium_ .
