Titanium 225 Stick Part 2: TIG welding with this “stick welding” machine

Күн бұрынThe Titanium Stick 225 is a Constant Current power source meant for stick welding. However, for a nominal cost you can make this a TIG welder for DC- only. Unfortunately this does not apply to AC TIG applications.

Your welds are incredible! I just picked up this little rig to learn with. My physics and chemistry backgrounds really kicked into drive as I was laying down the best weld in history on my first day (that is a joke, please laugh) and I thought to myself: wow, if only TIG/MIG wasn't out of sight in terms of price. Conceptually, I was running through how the whole process works and just thinking... I wonder if this little gizmo can do TIG/MIG with some very minor "modifications" and I bet it that it could, and it sure does! Very impressive! This is invaluable information for somebody just getting into the craft, I can't thank you enough! Your channel is an amazing find!

I wish you would do another video just showing the TIG hardware torch and regulators etc.. more in depth and its options. This was great video. I got one of these welders, had no idea one could TIG with it. Would like to see foot operated gas delivery options.

Yes, would be a great machine around the farm. And for the price even if it crapped out after awhile you’re not out much.

I have this machine too. It is really good. You can do heavy duty work with it.

Wow that's awesome,I have the Titanium 125 flux core welder and I love it I seen part 1and after seeing this part 2 ,I really have to buy this stick welder, plus it can weld 3/32 e6010,6011 on 120v, that's reason enough for me wanting to buy it (and tig capable too) hope Harbor freight pay you some royalties 👍

Awesome video and one of the reason I got this small welder yesterday. Did you try tig on the 110v? I'm only running 65 amps for stainless sink . U think it will keep up on the 110v?

I have the same welder and want to set it up to try tig, if I was to get a torch with the right dinse size and a gas line. Is the power block necessary?

Not sure why you couldn’t hear it but the torch was WP-17v and using a power cable adaptor. Easy peasy

Would all depend on the brand and style torch. That’s the most expensive part. But can get hose and power cable adaptor really cheap. Torch could set you back a few hundred.
