I swap all the bolt for wanyifa titanium gold ones since awhile on all my bikes, even on the the SX shifter I use on one of my bikes. I do it for my own enjoyment, if the wife asks it's for safety 😂 I would notice 🎉

I noticed 1 of the bolts had a torx head while the rest had hex. I've been doing a lot of changes to get a good fit on a bike and I'm worried about rounding out the heads on the hardware. Do you prefer torx over hex? Are the aluminum more prone or more resistant to rounding out the heads?

Intense claims their frames come with titanium hardware. Were the bolts that you pulled off not titanium? Asking cause I literally just placed my order for a Sniper T 😅 Love your videos!

Thanks! I know they quote some of the hardware being titanium. I didnt really touch much of the existing frame hardware for that reason.

Not as strong as steel. Steel is the strongest material in the world. Titanium bolts are very easy to strip. I only use them where strength is not important.

Not as strong as steel? Actually, stronger and 45 % lighter, then grade 8 steel . I wouldn't recommend spending excessive amount for couple m5 bolts on push bike

@@Nobody-hk1kz nope look it up steel is still the strongest material in the world. I own and ride several titanium bikes. I am very aware of its potential and advantages. But it’s not as strong as steel. It is however stronger than steel in relation to weight. My bike frame is as strong as a steel frame but the thickness of the tubing is waaaaay thicker but also lighter. High end steel (chromium) bikes tubing can be extremely thin and remain super strong because it’s the strongest material in the world but also heavy. Been biking and worked in the bike industry since 1980s. Tungsten is really the strongest but it also extremely heavy and hard to work with. Knife blades are not made with titanium but with steel due to its strength.

@@trishaleaver3581 I've been looking into this and I just want spare bolts to replace any that become worn. I don't care about bling. I ordered some A4 hardware, is this material any good? I'm mainly concerned with rounding out the heads from repeated disassembling and reassembling of parts. I was also worried about not matching the original parts and inadvertently changing torque values - is that a thing or am I overthinking? I'm not paying $5 for 1 screw, I'm paying around $.10/screw.
