I totally feel Simon's frustration. I get so pissed off when I play carelessly, or have some sort of mouse slip.

Entertaining as always and what a great finish. On a sidenote, I recently watched another TT podcast from an IM. While ranked over 2700 it was the most uneventful stream. Boring openings and just very dry positional play. Nothing in comparison to the level of entertainment and fireworks with Ginger GM! Keep it up, Simon Williams!

Advice for the heat: look to buy linen clothing. It is much more cooling and breathable. A tremendous improvement over the regular cotton shirts.

10:45 Most players, when they get into a rook ending, it's like their rating suddenly plummets hundreds of points. This holds true even for many GMs. In this case Simon (a brilliant middlegame player) entered the rook ending and promptly made a series of basic mistakes. This is a very common occurrence, I see it all the time in online chess. The Soviets used to teach students the endgame before anything else, which is one reason they dominated world chess for decades.

Great video as always. Couple of points climate is not weather . The term global warming has been changed to climate change as the data did not fit the warming hypothesis. I don't think people deny climate change, the debate is if it is Man driven or Sun driven. Not looking for a debate. Looking forward to some more content in the future.
