In this video we put the new Titleist T100 up against the nw Callaway Apex CB.
These two irons will no doubt be up there as some of the very best players irons this year....but which one will come out on top??

Great video. Wish I still had the speed to play these clubs. Any chance you could do a comparison between tbe T150, Apex Pro, and PXG 0317T? I'm particularly interested in the PXG as they are getting great reviews. Thanks!

My vote is Callaway. Sits perfect to my eye! Currently playing Legacy black CB.

I just switched from the 2013 legacy blacks to the apex cb. Apex cb is not as forgiving and doesn’t feel as good on off center strikes but feels phenomenal on centered strikes. Consistent ball flight and great spin. Top line is a little thinner but not a large difference.

I think live I liked the CB looks slightly more. I tried a few shots and boy does it feel great. Best Callaway iron I have ever hit.

Do you think the T200 5iron offers anything more than a T150 5iron if both are set at 24 degrees? I’m wondering if there’s any value in a combo set or if it makes more sense to go T150 throughout?

I will be testing these two shortly, currently in the Apex 21MB's. Did you notice much difference with the sole design and width?

Nice! Good luck. No, I mean the Callaway sole might be marginally smaller possibly but honestly just nothing in it between these 2 irons

Did you hurt your back playing golf? What's the injury? Is it temporary? Just asking because recovering myself right now and hoping it was a one-off bad technique session that did it to me (intercostal muscle tear) and was curious about your "bad back" comment.

This is the first time in nearly 2 decades I've switched from Mizuno to Callaway. Can't wait for my CB/PRO combo set to arrive... I'm a traitor!

I used to play callaway and then switched to mizuno….liking the look of callaway again 🤔

Titleist up-charges for almost all "stock" shafts whereas Callaway offers a nice selection of shafts for no-upcharge. I can't stand that Titleist wants to nickle and dime you for everything.

You hit that one so far off the toe, you almost missed the ball, yet it was almost a hole in one. Is forgiveness just a marketing gimmick these days? It almost seems like the players irons have just as much forgiveness as the (super) game improvement ones.

Did you look at the numbers at the end? 😂 I only show very few shots in the video, I hit like 70 odd shots so you can't really tell from what I show you tbh. The average data was basically the same

CB is a smidge softer and T100 a smidge more forgiving. T100 is shockingly easy to hit.

Lie shouldn't match since offsets are different.

Lie and offset aren't exclusively linked. Callaway and Titleist just have different lie angles as standard

@@djcardwell if you adjust the loft it has a large impact on offset. Altering lie angle does not change offset. Definitely nothing that would ever be noticeable anyway
