Now lets get into this...
For those of you who may not have seen it @AuditingBritain has recently published the events that took place when he happened to come across this location last year.

The shocking behaviour of not only the Met but also those at JW3 who called the police is outrageous all for a man simply exercising his right to film in public.
So with that in mind and to stand in solidarity with the LEGEND that is AB I decided to go and film at this location.
Now I maintain that this location would otherwise have gone by unnoticed by both myself, but I also believe AB had he not been treated in such a fashion. But he wasn't, and therefore, not only the police but JW3 need to be educated further on the subject of public photography.
And what did I learn during my experience at this location? That JW3 have failed to learn from their mistakes. They are ignorant to the rights of filming in public and that in some of the things that were said, they are completely wrong.

4 & a half hours, the police kept AB in the torture cuffs, then the arresting officer came to see him & tried to bribe him, by offering a caution, AB stated we have gone beyond that point & a civil complaint will be made, then they invented a trumped up charge to try & cover themselves. Well done TLA for uniting with a fellow auditor and keeping all our rights alive.

Imho Untill Rat boy is charged with making a false report/witness statement and i believe perjuring itself in court. I SINCERELY hope this place gets at least one auditor a day. I find it ridiculous when a crime is reported and the police say they didn’t see it so they can’t do anything. In AB’s they didn’t see anything but arrested him after an illegal search, and an arrest under Section 50 because he wouldn’t IDENTIFY. Every Auditor in the UK should head down here and do an audit. Even a mass audit to drive the message home to all the clowns that filming in public is legal. One of the officers involved is a comedian and was in full clown character at the arrest. Every officer there was clueless of the laws about filming in public. They had no idea that under section 43 there is no requirement to give your name. The little girl child had to ask over the phone for the procedure. The section 50 was for disorderly for filming. You can’t make a legal activity illegal unless are brain injured Met police officer.

Thanks for backing up AB and making the point that Photography is not a crime and cannot be turned into a crime just because somebody or some corporate body doesn’t like being filmed in Public !!! You can't make this shit up. Sadly, the conduct of the security in AB's video has invited the unwanted attention to the JW3 centre period. Just because you may be security inside that building doesn't mean you are security outside on the public footpath. The guy who runs the centre started off in a somewhat pleasant way but then his attitude changed because he knew you wasn't going to yield to his beck and call. He certainly missed an opportunity to find mutual ground. As, for the comments you made regarding people contacting Councils, Police and other government bodies you feature in your videos. I agree when contacting such departments people should be respectful and should not threaten or use bad language, however on the flip side to that people have the right to redress their government departments if they aren't happy with said conduct.

They may have "security concerns" and legitimately so, but this is a free country and the people have rights and their security concerns do not trump our rights. So when "they" call the police on photographers, our rights are violated and photographers get arrested. It is a situation that has to be challenged otherwise over time, we will see those rights disappear.
