I just found your channel and I have to say that I am LOVING it. We're planning our trip to Oaxaca this fall, so I have been watching a LOT of KZfaq videos on it. Most youtubers seem to do the same few activities and don't even try to experience the culture. I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos in Mexico (and hopefully Latin America) as you show us that these are places and people to be celebrated not vilified. Keep up the great work!

Hola Alfie, great video mi amigo. What a beautiful chapel El Senor de Tlacolula, and that market was awesome with so much stuff, vendors. I hope you liked the goat meat, it's got a distinct flavor, but very common all-over Latin America and Spain. I didn't know they call ice-cream "nieve" in Mexico instead of "helado" which is the word for ice-cream in Spanish as you know, so I learned something new. That tree was incredible, I can see why you got emotional, it's a living organism unlike the pyramids or other pre-Columbian ruins, but like you said it has seen so much in the last 2,000 years. Loved it!

Thanks Lou! 😊 The goat was good, I liked it! There is helado in Mexico also, but nieve is more like sorbet. I think the difference is the amount of milk. But sooo goood!

Haha, yeah; I’m just not a big drinker, so not much interest. I got a lot of comments skipping the town of Tequila when I visited Guadalajara. But, maybe next time! Thanks for watching!
