Hello, this is Robert Callaghan and Caden Salas writing. We are here to thank you for the wonderful year we had learning with you. Not only did you make learning fun, you made it easy and understandable, we might have only had you for one year, you made Spanish one of the best subjects, from the 4th grade orientation to the cooking videos during lockdown. We wish you the best of luck from your old school.Runnemede will never forget you.Thank you, Robert Callaghan and Caden Salas.

Thank you! I agree; with such an important role in the history of Mexico (and the Americas), more tourists should go to Tlatelolco and see where the Spanish and Mexica fought their last battle. Such a fascinating story! Thanks for watching!

Turning such historic tragedies to moments for reflection and perhaps remorse ... is an especially appealing talent you have Alfi. Thanks again for the research, effort, and time you put into the creation of this thoughtful work. Vr, R

Thanks Alfie! Love your presentation of the history. I believe it’s easy to “see” the culture but need to be reminded that it was the history that shaped that culture. Will be in CDMX this Friday! WooWoo!

Great video, it makes me feel sad. Did you know that Plácido Domingo travel from New York just to look for his aunt and uncle. They were living in one of those Tlatelolco buildings that collapsed. He joined the people who were trying to save people.

Great video, just one clarification: Tlatelolco is not dangerous neiborghood, people have a negative perception of the area because of the tragic events that have occurred there, but the area is quite peaceful, even more so than some areas in the center. In fact, it could be said that the neighborhood is undergoing a process of gentrification thanks to many middle-class people having to leave neighborhoods like Roma Condesa due to rising rental costs.

Thank you; I am only going by what my Chilango friends told me about the safety of the neighborhood. They even suggested I didn’t take the metro, but I did anyway. Thanks for watching!

@@GringoInterrupted Yeah i know, it's what you call an "stigmatized area" but just the people who live there know what really happen. All in all, the place is one of the most interesting spots in the city, not just for the tragic history, but for the functionalist architecture similar to russian commie blocks, not to mention de nostalgic/melancholic vibe of the neighborhood. I think your mexican buddies were overprotecting you, the subway is a very safe way to go around the city. Anyway, great video, keep on the good work!

Mexico is not only party cancun alcoholic drinks I am angry that foreigners do not respect or take seriously the history that is very important for Mexicans for us our roots are extremely important so foreigners who have history and roots can understand how important is the ancestral what forges us as a nation. You are one of the few very few foreigners who respects and takes my culture seriously thanks for that they are teaching foreigners who know nothing Respect for our culture is extremely essential if you do not respect it you could earn a bad face on the part of the Mexican
