I am in the process of deciding if I will move back to traditional archery from a Matthews FX Compound at 65 yrs old. While my strength is fading and my eye sight dimming, my love of hunting is not. I used to live in MT and really miss elk hunting like this video shows. What eight bows are you fells shooting?

I wish I lived in the US for the hunting alone. I buy my arrows from 3riversarchery, but im in Ontario. The $60 hunter wood arrows with broadheads and mounting come to $100, which im fine with, but the exchange rate makes that $160, and shipping on top of that is $40 bringing the total to $200 for a 6 pack of wooden arrows, then on top of that UPS wants to charge me a duty fee of $60.....

Awesome video. What was the bow and arrow specs ? Do you all use tuffhead broadheads? I made the switch to em this year. Shooting the 315 grain with 100 grain insert for a 740 grain total arrow weight. Shooting a maddog archery prairie predator that’s 55@28 drawing 27.5. Can’t wait to test it out.

Bow was a 52#@29” Big Stick Hitman arrows were Victory Carbon Trads tipped with an Ace Standard 640 grains total weight.
