Damn, decino must be on very friendly terms with the RNG gods to be able to consistently survive cyberdemon rockets to the face

Three very important lessons I learned from this video: -Blood is secret -Blood is bad -What The Actual Hell is that a cyberdemon spawning on my face at the end of the map

You may not have realized, but the area you were exploring at 12:00 is actually the inside of the crashed ship, with the structure you looked at at the beginning being it's broken off wing.

Huge respect you've told openly you made an oopsie with microphone, but tbh it sounds good and it's sometimes hard to tell the difference

I’m always amazed when you manage to get out situations like the one you encountered at the end of this map. It takes some skill for sure, but a ton of luck as well. I can’t believe you didn’t die after running into that dead end, taking a face rocket, and running back through the other enemies with the Cyber firing at you. Wild haha. That definitely got my heart racing as well!

Don't sweat it about the mic thing, pumpkin boi. What is important is us being able to hear you. *EDIT:* Further commentary has followed c: Here's my opinion on this one: Hands down, the map I dislike the most in TNT. The Crash Site is way too dark, to the point where some of those Doomcute details should have been axed in favor of more sectors with lighting from lamps; navigability in it is absolutely AWFUL with so many one-way routes and, to paraphrase MtPain, chronic "what did this switch do?" syndrome; and finally, between the Archie in your face without cover with Spectres to block your escape, and that complete chicanery at the end, Gaspe clearly has no handle on how to implement difficulty without being cheap. The dread it tries to induce with its mood and music completely evaporates for me in favor of exasperation, and I don't care if it sounds mean, I have run the "changemap" cheat more than a few times to skip this map and straight into the far better map 20. If Gaspe produced this on his own with no one to revise it like the credits indicate, that's a rare misfire from the TNTR team. I'm giving this a *D-* only because the environmental detailing is mighty impressive for vanilla.

Guy has given me countless hours of entertainment, made me a better doom player, and is cool enough to engage with his audience constantly. And he has the nerve to apologize to me. No sir. Thank you 🙏🏾

Out of everything, "C" is also a popular key on that keyboard, nice. Mic sounded fine, by the way. based on this level, it was really hard to tell something was wrong with the sound. Mean traps were just a fine icing on the cake

Whoa!!! Ghost monsters is one notable thing. But I didn't expected Candlecove-style Blapmooha-boy fight in TNTR! That was crazy.

Never thought I'd live to see the day we'd get a decino fingertip reveal. Hell really has frozen over.

It took me between 5-10 minutes to find that jump for the red key/crusher area. I really enjoyed this map. The cyber demon at the end was funny because I knew it was coming and you were far too relaxed.

That trap with ghost cacos was very well placed! And btw, since I've just seen the video of Zero Masters of 100% kills on Doom 1 E1M8, I rewatched your videos of Doom challenges deemed impossible, but sadly I didn't see that level there. That would have been a nice change to green.

Idk, to me your video's sound actually sounds better like this, its a lot clearer. Almost sounds like I'm right in the same room with you but I'm watching on a Galaxy S23 Ultra. Also what an ending! The RNG gods were definitely on your side in that run.

That last encounter man. The cyber rocket almost tasted like the final fight in swim with the whales map03. I love when you eat that missile and the screen is all red and you still manage to survive somehow. Very well done and at the same time so entertaining to watch!

I'm pretty amazed at how well you handled this level first try 100% everything. I have no idea how you survived the cyberdemon at the end and some of that arch vile placement. Pure perseverance. I liked the crusher battle and the overall detailing. Progression is tricky but rewarding. Maybe a bit overboard on atmosphere where it's unwarranted and can instead have better combat and pointing you in the right direction. If I would change the map, I'd let light sectors or teleporting demons subtly point you to the next place.

Just started a new TNTR playthrough last night, this time with Doom Roguelike Arsenal, Legendoom Lite, and fast monsters enabled. Hardly a vanilla experience 😅 but being very enjoyable so far, although it might not have been if I hadn't designed my entire build around Fortress of Bullets 😂

I was 100% certain you were dead when that cyberdemon appeared with all those monsters limiting your movement. I was certain you'd catch a second rocket and we'd have a fast-forward montage (which I love, by the way; wasted footage benefits no one). I'm astonished you survived!

Love the audio quality. It sounds very.....homey. On the map, its dark and mazy but that Cyberdemon brings back PTSD from Hell Revealed.

Very mean and brutal ending to a map that is already difficult to navigate - I greatly appreciate all the little details throughout the map though. It kind of reminds me of a modern-style Jens Nielsen map fitting both of those categories (brutal encounters + switch hunting).

I almost forgot what it was like to see a Cyberdemon actually serve as a boss. I thought you were going to die, but somehow you always tend to navigate despite the red screen lol. Red screens disorient me always. These maps are incredible, great exploration and immersion.

The enemy placement in this map is very evil. Those ghost cacos, and the Cyberdemon at the end... good stuff.

Can we acknowledge how amazing this MIDI is? The piano notes alongside the unsettling melody give this map even more atmosphere. And that Cyberdemon placement was utterly cruel.

Man, this map is evil. Mazy as all hell, a ghost caco spawner, and some very nasty surprise spawns. This map doesn't just sucker-punch you,it uses a berzerk pack first!

Wow, those ghost cacos and cyberdemon jump-scare at the end are more evil than I had expected in this WAD. How you managed to survive the Cyber at the end is beyond me :D Edit: I'd also totally forgotten about the Cyber wake up sound, by that stage.

That stupid jump at 19:34 to end up with the red key took me THAT long to figure out that my first run of this map was soured completely. Went back a few days later and did it again, much much better when replay value is added.

Having just finished the original TNT I have to say the most TNT thing about Revilution is the more or less completely dark levels. TNT:R is brighter than the original, but man... so much darkness. Not nearly enough chaingunners though. :P The maps look great, just wish I could see more of the last few ones.

punching lost souls is so cool, even the revenents do it! TNTR loves caverns the same way TNT loves Techbase. But hey, TNTR has some good caverns.
