This is an omnibus edition so i have done these videos before but in small parts this is a longer version of the complete series - everything in one place!

The guy that came up with flashing graphene also found that if you do it to plastics you het graphene and hydrogen. Now they are making an industrial sized setup. You can flash trash to get graphene and hydrogen. Clean up the environment and get paid.

Thanks! Been on this rabbit hole and now I got another paper to look up. I've been wondering what the variety of the gaseous compounds that get released are.

Wow!!! Wonderfully practical and clear exposition of a super simple and cheap home-friendly procedure for making highly concentrated dispesed graphene. Thanks a million, Robert. This opens vistas for home experimentation: supercaps top of the list.!!!

One thing I am looking at, is that anthracite coal is almost 70 % graphite by form, and has about 10% silica. The question is, will it work as graphite in the blender method? These numbers are guesswork, as most people don't go after anthracite for graphitic content, but you can see it in the break of the material, and the silica is visible and weighable after burning it.
@TnTOmnibus9 ай бұрын
it probably would mate - but i am guessing

Hi Rob, I am a great fan and a supporter! Thank you for all the great information and your contagious laughter! :) I have a question regarding centrifuging: do you have any pointers of the type of centrifuge to use? All I can seem to find on the internet is the kind where you put the material in small vessels and that seems a bit tedious - not that I mind tedious, really, but if there is an alternative that can centrifuge greater amounts I would prefer that.
@dennissorensen87656 ай бұрын
This is not exactly rapid prototyping, but what a vision and what tenacity!😎 Now the remaining 80% will be redesigning it as an EV, as we near the point of ban for ICE cars. 😅🙈

Would have been nice to see tests of how a graphene-less casein wafer compares to the graphene impregnated one. Also imagine mixing graphene with the recently published reverse-engineering of roman concrete that heals itself when im contact with water

Thanks for doing this. I would like to do some experiments with concrete and was wondering what ratio you used of this graphene solution to cement? I would think the higher concentration of graphene, the stronger the cement will be. Also, does it have to be deionized water, would distilled water work?

For the part where you make graphene with whey proteins, the paper said they stopped blending every 5 minutes to take a sample and to stop it from overheating (
@fowyb3 күн бұрын
I was about to suggest that the pause was related to the duty cycle of the blender, but 30°C shouldn't be an issue for a blender, and nor should 30 minutes continuous use. On the other hand, I can't imagine this wet mixture generating 30°C either, so perhaps it was an abundance of caution due to duty cycle of the blender. - Once an appliance repairman.

Amazing video thank you! I'm just a little confused as to why I haven't heard anything about people or companies using these cheap, safe DIY processes to make graphene and use it to make batteries or capacitors. The conductivity and capacity of graphene is off the charts so why has no one made an insanely energy dense battery or super capacitor with it yet?

I would really like an answer on this perticular question. Please @nateswenson2730. if You find out... Help a curious soul. I think it might be what ill be doing through my entire life

I'm pretty sure that people have been making and using graphene for at least a couple of thousand years, to prevent eggs from sticking to their iron cookware. Seriously, have you ever tried to sand the carbon off of an iron skillet? It's nearly impervious. The easiest way to remove it is to heat the iron until the thermal expansion of the metal forces the carbon to break loose, and then it comes off in big flakes, which is just another testament to the structural integrity of the carbon coating.

The 13 year long study across over 100 diffrent universities is still being compiled. But what has been compiled and pisblished suggest that *clean* graphine and graphine oxide produced with biocompatable materials do get cleared from the body via the natural routes after a month or two. These studies even explicity cite the blender and whey method of production. That could pose an extreme hazard for a full time worker, with build up over time and constant aggrivation but for at home use not so much. Simular to how Acetone (Nail polish remover) is extremly dangerious to industrial workers, but children are just fine to use it with no ill effects at home. As far as lazed induced flash graphine, that is already bound, Unless your grinding it up and intentionally injceting it its not getting inside you. But they did test that as well. It clumped, caused inflamation at the injection site and then was detected in the bladder before no detection about a month later.

Probably as dangerous as anything else that offers a alternative to the energy grid 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 did you know gas is carcinogenic? Yeah really dangerous don't use it!!!!!
@petevenuti73556 ай бұрын
She's likely thinking of the fibers like asbestos, The body can't break down cellulose either you know , no one talks about how dangerous paper is. Graphene is likely closer to paper then fiberglass is relative to asbestos.
