I always liked Andrew the most. His suit was cool, he looked flexible, and he had more personality than the other ones. He was the only Spiderman that actually seemed like was having fun fighting villains.

I love Tom's work but Tobey is still at the top man, not because of the nostalgia but the storytelling of how Peter from a shy awkward nerdy kid to become the most inspiring and lovable super hero. And Tobey's Peter doesn't need Iron-Man to become Spider-Man. You can't deny that folks. But Tom's is physically accurate to potray Peter Parker.

Tobey didn't have RDJ's backing as Holland did. But still, he made us fall in love with this amazing character. He started from scratch and built the character, unlike Holland who first appeared in Civil War (2016) before even getting to his own movie. While Avengers made the new Spiderman financially successful, it was Tobey who made the first mark.

Someone once said, "what makes a good villain is motive." Tobey's villains had reasons to want to end him and do what they are doing. Most of Tom's don't have a personal vendetta against him which makes it not seem deep. I really did not watch the amazing Spider-Man so I can't say. But Raimi's version has depth and a purpose to it which made it really great.

Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man has actual responsibility and consequences. For example when hung up his suit cause he stopped believing in himself and people stopped believing in him. But no matter how hard he tried to curb his duty he always knew he had a "responsibility" to protect the city.

Personally Andrew will alway by my favourite Spider-Man his performance was incredible and I actually really really liked both movies. I really don’t get why they’re hated so much. Peter Parker’s personality is awkward, nerdy and a loner but good hearted and will always do what’s right but is still just a flawed teenager. I think he did this really well as u could see his awkwardness e.g talking to Gwen or adults, u could see his loner ness as he kept to himself and didn’t really have any friends and his nerdiness was shown through him being a genius and the jocks bullying him. His “cool” vibe probably just came from skating but in fact he wasn’t “cool”, he had no friends, no gf, didnt play sports, he was just showing a more modern idea of a “nerd” or loner, being ignored. However whenever he saw injustice he stood up for it, like the comic Peter Parker would’ve done, no matter how “uncool” he was. U could clearly see his insecurities and the walls that were built but u also saw him break them down and discovering who he was. E.g his humour that he whipped out as Spider-Man with this new found confidence, his relationship with Gwen. As Spider-Man he really grew and u could see the internal conflict and growth he went through after losing his uncle and Gwen, whereas other portrayals didn’t emphasise on the emotional side as much. Also with his father, that was a very big turning point and part of his character arc that is ignored but Andrew played it to perfection. I think it’s just unfortunate that this wasn’t released before the og Spider-Man trilogy because I feel like a lot of people ignore it cuz it wasn’t the first or wasn’t given the advantage of entering an already worldwide successful cinematic universe. It had the most emotional punches such as Gwens death, had beautiful cinematography, great pacing, outstanding character development, gripping action, (hilarious humour) and will always be my underrated favourite 🥰

My favorite I would say is Tom, although I like Tobey and Andrew a lot too.

I don’t know the action sequences in the Raimi films felt stronger to me, I feel Maguire should have taken that category. They were epic, I don’t feel like Holland had the same amount they were just in different settings, but it loses some of that friendly neighborhood Spider-Man charm that way.

The Raimi Spider-man will always be the best spiderman or perhaps the best marvel movies
