Toby is a perfect example of an old soul in a young body! You don’t teach what he knows! What comes out of that guitar is the reflection of the soul!

so happy to see that bow to the audience! little things matter and everything i see young toby do really impresses me so much!! his guitar playing of course!! but how he dresses his all round confidence his social skills his dedication to his music and also the sheer amount and high quality of the work that he puts out for his public!! over time it's been so fascinating to watch this eminently gifted musical child develop! and big thanks to his parents for that privilege! musically he's a national treasure having grown up on camera for all of us to witness! keep at it toby lad!!

i have now had time to listen to the whole of this a couple of times using my beats three's!! first and foremost toby's guitaring is edgy and raw and of course brilliant exciting and explosive!! he looks the part moves really well and has huge on-stage charisma!! the sound that his guitar makes here is just the sound i wanted to hear and have tried in the past in comment to describe! it has wonderful presence and sound dynamics!! "and on guitar we have mr toby lee". then the electrical storm begins with thunderous bass and screaming musical lightning!! and that's exactly what happened during the welch-ledbetter set but for some reason the guitar presence faded a lot it seemed to me later on for whatever reasons. the guitaring was equally as good but without presence the guitar can easily become marginalised and disappear into the general melee of the group's sound! not toby's fault. sound engineer!? i found myself saying hey you guys will you just shut up and let toby play!! the answer to this of course is that it needs to be the "toby lee blues band" or whatever so that toby and his guitar playing are the main course rather than just a side!! an afterschool or weekend garage band maybe?? so i don't know about the technicalities of which guitar he was playing how it was set up the means of amplification or whether any very slight distortion crept in at the edges etc etc but for me this is a wonderful signature sound and i humbly suggest that you bottle and label it clearly because for me it's right on the money!! oh yes. and rock on!!
