Omg, it’s weird but Weldon mcdavid during the attempted murder was married to my cousin (I will not mention her name for her privacy.) I was just about 12 years old when I went to their wedding and Weldon was off and didn’t want to socialize with anyone at the wedding or get to know anyone. My poor cousin had his son a few months later. He seemed narcissistic, absolutely gun crazy, and nieve. It’s surreal to know the person who can do this type of thing. Worst thing is Weldon really kept telling my cousin that he “thought she was in danger”. Sure.....in essence, Both are absolutely psychotic. And for Weldon.....no remorse for cheating on my cousin and leaving their son who by the way is doing well.

It would be interesting if you did an analysis of Jacques Delisle, the Quebec judge who has been convicted of killing his paralysed wife. He has a mistress (younget, he was 79) but said his wife asked him to give her his gun and he claims she pulled the trigger herself while he was out buying groceries, after he tried to dissuade her, but still left the gun in her reach. After 9 years in prison he has just been released and there will be a new trial this fall.

Oh I didn’t realize he was getting another trial. After seeing an interview with him, I actually felt he was genuine and was really broken up about his wife’s request and what happened. To be honest, if he is telling the truth, it’s hard to say that I wouldn’t make a similar decision if someone I knew someone I love was suffering. That’s why I believe in assisted suicide in cases like hers. I felt ALOT of compassion for that man when he was speaking about the situation. I believe he’d been with the woman he was having an affair with for a long time. It didn’t seem like it was the typical ‘kill your spouse so you can Ben with your affair’ type situation. I honestly hope he gets out.

The fact that Dunning-Kruger applies to murderers as well kind of scares me. They are so clueless that the plan they come up with is something half-baked like this, but that same cluelessness makes them think they can get away with it, so they carry it out. The fact that they get caught afterwards doesn't help the person who is dead. It's only lucky that, in this case, the guy survived.

Great analysis, Dr. Grande! I remember watching this case on network TV. Somehow, though, the show made it seem that Weldon thought that Diana Lovejoy was a battered spouse and had to protect Diana and her child from the violent husband. I don't remember any mention about Weldon being paid for his services, that really surprised me! Diana gives me off-putting vibes, I wish she would have gotten more prison time. Ironically, though, I feel kinda sorry for Weldon. I remember seeing him on another show where he talked about him despising abu$ive husbands which is why he taught firearms tactics particularly to women (this was before the attempt on Diana's ex husband). I rather enjoyed your humorous jabs towards Diana, I needed the chuckle today🤣😂... Anyway, I wonder how their little boy is doing... I hope he is well. Do you mean James Arthur Ray from the documentary "Enlighten Us" (its about the time after the sweat lodge, when he got out of prison) I think Dr. Grande did something about him, look in his playlist or youtube search: "Dr. Grande - James Arthur Ray"

You are on a roll Dr. Grande!! I actually had to rewind this vid, (more than once), to effectively gather facts and listen to the topic, of course, but I was literally laughing "out loud" and I never stopped laughing even after that episode concluded. Truly I enjoy the interesting content you work hard to produce, you have a perfect balance of knowledge and humor. I'm not speaking for other subscribers to your channel, but I'm inclined to believe that they too quite enjoy your personality/wit/dry humor/sarcasm/knowledge/humbleness/pleasant demeanor & etc... I could go on and on. Thank you for all of the time and effort. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Dude was supposed to do the "perfect crime" as a paid hitman but put more thought in relation to organising a plan to take a dump in the woods - bringing special towels and whatnot... Though, jokes aside, that's some of the weirdest shit (no pun intended lol) I have ever heard - him taking a dump in the woods before attempting to commit murder, wiping his behind with towels he took from his GF/co-conspirator and leaving them behind at the crime scene... Wtf? I can only imagine how preplexed the investigators were when they realised those shitty rags in the woods actually *were* related to the attempted murder they were trying to solve.

You hit it out of the ball park again, Dr. Grande! Always excellent videos from you! One lesson they should have learned, is to let you give their plans the once over before they try these things. That way you can tell them that they're stupid before they hurt someone!
