different people have different opinion about whether a teacher proficiency or subject knowledge matter is more important.however, in my opinion, the proficiency of a teacher to relate with student is far more advantageous than subject matter expertise.i assert the statement due to two main reason that I will explore in the following essay. first of all. although a teacher subject knowledge Is a very significant characteristic of a tutor and can be so beneficial and affect on learning of a student positively but the more important factor for a teacher is to be able to transfer his or her knowledge to students. new scientific research at Harvard university has shown that in a communicative environment ;student feels more comfortable and as a result ,they can be motivated to study in better ways. for this reason, I strongly believe that a teacher ability to relate with student in a fair approach is so useful for children to learn and continue education. secondly, when a student are exposed to a teacher who has the ability to interact with them well; in fact the student also like to react in a affairmative way and this mutual interactions gives student a quantum leap to concentrate on materials and pay attention to what the teacher recommend and teaches.in addition, constructive relation creates a mutual cooperation between teacher and student and a combination of cooperation and concentration in a favourable manner undoubtedly increase more creativity in student in the future and they can make well informed decision for themselves.accordingly, I believe thatinteraction with studend based on respect and friendship so useful. to summarize,it can be reiterated that a teacher ability to interact with student in a constructive approach is so beneficial due to the fact that increases the quality of studying and give more self-confidence and calmness to student to raise their question with teacher in a friendly atmosphere that eventually is resulted in success for both student and teachers.

Hi, thank you for your useful information. Can you review my essay; Besides our parents, teachers have a great influence on our formative years. Some people believe that teacher’s knowledge of a certain subject, is less important than the way he interacts with his fellow students at the personal level. Personally, I believe that the ability of an instructor to convey information is less valuable than relating well with his students. This essay will discuss why I feel this way. I think that the educational process is above all, a human interaction between learners and a tutor in which knowledge is conveyed. While it is good to have strong academic bases in math or chemistry, it would be better to combine the learning process with a good connection between the different interactors. In order to get these information in a smooth way, a good relationship need to be established between the learners themselves and their tutor. My personal experience is a compelling example of this. Back to high school years, I had a very friendly and supportive physics teacher. He would make his course simple and enjoyable through creative games and quizzes. As a result, I had almost no difficulties to understand physics phenomena which had encouraged later on me to pursue my master’s studies in nuclear physics. Contrary to the belief that the main role that school plays is transmitting information, thus forming academically knowledgeable individuals, education is also responsible for training a well-balanced and sociable future citizen. In other words, school should also give learners the opportunity to interact between each other. As the professionally environment continuously changes, companies are now looking for the personal side of a job applicant. Add to having the needed technical assets, public speaking, communication and conflict management are all skills for which recruiters give great importance now. Therefore, interactive learning is extremely valuable as it offers young learners an initial training in soft skills which will greatly influence their career. To conclude, a good teacher is evaluated based on his expertise in his specific domain but also on his capability to correctly interact with his students.

Hello Jay. Thank you for these great tips and essay structure. I have a question if you don't mind. Some toefl tutors on KZfaq suggest increasing the word count beyond the minimum 300 words required for this task. Some even say that 300 words is usually not enough for scoring higher than 24. What is your answer for that? Thanks in advance. Keep up with the great work !!

Hey, Jay. Thank you. You are handsome. But I do have a question. About point of view, you say I need to choose a side. But being neutral is also a side, I mean as good as is a side and it belongs to disagree category. If this is the case and me insist writing this point of view, what should I do?

The context of the second paragraph seems very confusing to me. This paragraph started with the following statement: "Students feel more comfortable with a teacher they can relate to and therefore, they will be more open to learning". The statement for this paragraph is suppose to be "more open to learning" (min 14:27) but not a single phrase in this paragraph explains how feeling more comfortable with a teacher is conducive to an open learning. In fact, the entire paragraph is based on explanations and examples of a professor being supportive, and approachable, but nothing explains the correlation between these characteristics and the teacher's influence in the student responsiveness to learning. Furthermore, the final statement in this paragraph is "Therefore, providing support is sometimes more important than imparting expert knowledge." Again, providing support... Where did the "more open to learning" initial statement go?

the good news here is that I've been preparing for the IELTS writing task using the E2 method ... therefore I got familiar with it. the reason why I moved from the IELTS to the TOEFL is the fact that all the test centers in my Country, Algeria, are closed ... Whereas the TOEFL are offering an at-home test. For the ones who come from 2050 ... in 2019 a severe pandemic spread across the world and everything got closed lol

I a; one of your followers in e2 IELTS So, I noticed that for the same type of question in the IELTS essay you would be asked to write for more than 250 words in 40 mints ... on the other hand, you have to write for about 300 words in the TOEFL essay within 30 minutes. I guess the TOEFL writing task is harder than the IELTS.
