In this episode I thought it was a good idea to show you the method I use when making 3 piece fiberglass moulds for a set of front fenders.
Be sure to turn subtitles on so you don't miss all the added info.
This episode and the next one will be a little self contained mini series inside this Stagea build. These episodes should give you all the details you need to make most types of fiberglass moulds.

Absolutely phenomenal! I've been moulding and casting for years (although in the prop making industry, where quick and dirty is the order of the day) and I have never seen such neat and meticulous work. TOW is a master craftsman. I learn so much from these videos. Much respect!

Thanks mate! There's always a time and place for quick and dirty moulds too, ones with packing tape repairs and where you just coat the thing in PVA and cross your fingers but I usually point the camera the other way for those ones haha.

Haha, yeah a lot of trial and error. I've done coreflute, signboard, polycarb, tin, and even made my own flanges out of fiberglass before for some really tricky shapes, cardboard is surprisingly good if you're spraying a sealer over it.

Awesome work, I need to make a lot of molds for a future project, have watched a lot of videos on the process. I really like the gap filler instead of body filler, much easier to work with. Bloody crazy how many hours goes into making a perfect part, and then the amount of hours to make a mold off that part.
