Lived on Gado Gado during my three month visit to Indonesia back in 1976. Yogya had the best.

Excellent video. I lived in Yogyakarta for a year and you’ve made this very much to match the Yogyakartan recipe really well! For a little more Yogyakarta influence, definitely needs fried tofu and fried tempe plus krupuk ikan. I miss Yogya so much, salam untuk semua teman-teman di Yogya.

gado gado versi saya yang berasal dari kota solo jawa tengah : ~~ bahan sayuran : ~ kobis d iris ( sesuai selera mau tipis atau tebal ) tidak perlu d rebus ~ wortel di iris sesuai selara ( tipis atau tebal ) lalu d rebus ~ buncis di rebus ~ kecambah d rebus ~ mie kuning di rebus ~ kentang di rebus ~ tahu dan tempe ( di goreng potong kecil kecil ) ~ telur ayam di rebus ~ krupuk d goreng ~~ bahan sambel pecel : 1/4 kg kacang tanah ( bisa d goreng atau d sangrai ) lalu haluskan 5 cabe merah besar 4 cabe rawit merah ( bisa d skip kalau tidak suka pedas ) 5 bawang putih 4 cm kencur garam secukup ny 4 balok gula merah ~~ cara membuat sambal pecel : cabe, bawang putih, kencur, gula merah di haluskan, tambahkan garam secukupny, tambahkan kacang tanah yang sudah d haluskan tambahkan air secukupny lalu masak sampai mendidih dengan kekentalan sesuai selera, lalu koreksi rasa

sambal it's just chilli add little salt and pepper and mix it you can add onion it called sambal bawang, sambal onion you can add shrimp it called sambal shrimp, easy make sure chilli have boilling first so you are not get diare if nothing brown sugar you can change for honey or milk 10:26 that's delicious oil you can friying steak with that's

Gado gado terenak menurut saya adalah Gado Gado versi Surabaya. Ditambah kentang di sausnya. Dan... Apa di luar negeri tidak ada kacang??? Kenapa sering pakai pasta kacang. Beda... Sudah ada rasa di pasta kacangnya... Rasanya beda... Gado-gado Surabaya the best.....🤤🤤🤤

The peanut butter I use is 100% peanuts, without additives, so I save time! But I agree that some peanut butters have flavors and other ingredients added that makes them less suited for peanut sauce. I’ll have to try the Surabaya version!!

The Indonesian gado gado recipe is boiled vegetables: bean sprouts, long beans, kale, pumpkin, bitter gourd , potatto and egg. fried food ; Crackers, Tofu and Tempe , onion seasoning: ground peanuts, garlic, salt, a little sour. then mixed with sweet sauce👍🇲🇨

How do you make the onions

I actually purchase them, but you can thinly slice some onions, fry them in 275F oil until they're light golden brown. Put them on a paper towel, and bring the oil up to 350F. Add the onions in, and fry them for a few seconds, until they are crispy and well-browned.

@@ToinesKitchen kroketten, probably misspelled. I was in Holland for 3 weeks and I hit the fabo and many other shops everyday I had one or more. I have made them before and turned out great. The technique was quite different than yours so I'm going to try your recipe next!
