As a freak who has never played a tom Clancy game, but has read a couple of his books back in middle school, i can definitely say this looks nothing like my other tom clancy experiences.

I think Super Bunnyhop says it best when talking about Rainbow Six, especially on the PC: It's a game that makes you fear and respect violence. Direct combat is almost never wanted and only leads to a few good men dead. I never knew the Dreamcast had its own version!

This was so revolutionary on the Nintendo64. I remember you could do 4 player split screen (Something you didnt mention). First of it's kind on a console (That I know of). I remember then renting it for the PS1 and I think that version only had single player. I think I did play the Dreamcast 1 as well. Might of borrowed it from a friend if I remember correctly.

I loved playing this on pc, never played on Dreamcast for the exact reasons you mention about the lack of buttons; I just knew on instinct this game wouldn’t work with that controller

Along with Hidden & Dangerous this (& the other one they released) was just a mess on Dreamcast

Yes this is one of those early PCMR games. Really too much control for a console. I wish tactical shooters, or at least FPSes that attempt some degree of realism, made a little comeback.
