My initial thought was that RDJ already stated that he would gladly reprise the role in a past interview, and I didn't like the idea of someone else doing it. However, taking NWH into account, and the thought that Cruise's IM might be a villain, puts the whole thing in a different light. If anyone could pull off a villainous Stark, and still put that sheen of comic insouciance on the character (if that's the direction they decide to take), it'd definitely be Cruise.

He's dead end off. you cannot have a 2nd. end off. Just like James Bond 007, he's dead end of. You may make other movies of these in it. But i will not watch them ever, they're now dead end of. Just like King Kong you killed him off, I don't watch other movies that's made of Kong as he's dead. Anyhow the writers have nothing new, they just repeat the old script as they're lame and unimaginative, over paid losers. They're dead end off.

What I meant was that Marvel should make a twist where Tom Cruise’s MCM character in the upcoming Doctor Strange sequel ends up being Arno Stark who will be a combination of Iron Man 2020 (Arno Stark who is Tony’s twisted long lost brother in an alternate future in the Ultimate universe) and Superior Iron Man (evil Tony Stark from an alternate universe). That way it would avoid the whole recasting of Tony Stark because that would be a big problem for fans like me who see Robert Downey Jr. as the definitive and one and only live-action Tony Stark. That way it would honor Robert Downey Jr.’s legacy as being the one and only live-action version of Tony Stark. It’d be somewhat similar to Ivan Vanko in Iron Man 2 who was a combination of Mark Scarlotti (original Whiplash) and Anton Vanko (original Crimson Dynamo).

We're very lucky we got RDJ for Iron man, a perfect fit. It's really hard to play the role of such complex characters like Iron man, Batman..but we have to admit that Tom cruise is a top notch actor, Marvel doesn't simply hand pick such people, also he's playing another variant of Iron man, let's see what happens..

i know we all miss the real iron man. but because tom cruise's iron man is from another universe it would make sense because he is not the same tony stark. the same logic worked with spiderman. so I like that this is happening and i cant wait to watch it. especially the fact that Tobey Maguire is rumored in the movie and it makes it more exiting. and i cant wait to see superior iron in the real life version for the first time.

RDJ perfectly portrays Stark as a flawed but ultimately good person. A hot shot like Cruise might actually be a good choice to portray a Stark that is quite the opposite of that.

I loved the vid of course. As for Cruise playing the superior Iron-Man? Go for it. I think that this introduction of a comic character will be oh so much better than how Spider-man was in 2002. What I'd love to know is y a few of the most important aspects of Spider-man were left out? Examples.... Bone saw McGraw instead of our fan favorite Crusher Hogan? Who btw makes a heroic comeback years later saving Spideys life in an issue of Web of Spider-man. Crusher gives his life to save our favorite hero. Giving his less than mediocre life a legacy. Meaning. I teared up reading that one. Webshooters out the wrist? Comeon!!? Spiders spin their webs out of their abdomen. That was just lazy producing and lack of research. Spidey suit? That explains itself. The Amazing Spider-man got that right at least. But left out one of the most important origin stories in that Peter didn't test out his powers in the ring. I could go on and on because, yes, I do have a harmless obsession with Stan and Steve's best creation. I love this character. But I do have a life away from it too. Really. It's just that because of my feelings I have followed him for years. Anyway. This generation is getting what they paid for in some pretty good stories and CGI. But I think I have done of the best stories that needs to be told. It will answer the question every fan and citizen of New York. And the MCU of course. One last thing. I am not looking to get rich here. At all. And if anyone takes me seriously I will prove it. Oh. James Cameron really should be at the helm. God bless the Ukraine!

MoM didn't have anything but the next biggest avengers movies will break the multiverse by bringing in so many characters...according to the comics iron man is supposed to be in the secret wars so it is possible we will see Tom or another great actor or even rdj play iron man
