Very odd juxtaposition of visual footage with a separate audio track. It’s a shame because all the separate pieces would be interesting to hear properly. Having said that it’s good to hear the main interview.

Charlie Rose lost his job for good reasons and Tom was promoting his album Echo which he barely managed to finish because he was on heroin and desperate to change everything Stevie Nicks was a nuisance and Dana was not ready to marry him. And Charlie Rose clearly didn't like him. That full one hour interview was yanked by someone or other but appreciate it because it demonstrates what a great man and a true transcender Tom Petty was and couldn't give a damn. So bring it on and many thanks. My favorite interview in 2014 with another disgraced interviewer ... what can I say was Jian Ghomeshi CBC for the last official album Hypnotic Eye and it blew me away and .. he always had good luck with Canadian journalists I really respected Peter Mansbridge who was like a kid looking at all those guitars while Tom was saying, well I know you only need one ... reason why he's still missed and celebrated now and I hope forever. People find themselves in that music and his band ... not a single one not a genius blows me away.
