Okay peeps I have a question I really don't like Voldemort but I'm very interested of Tom Riddle. I don't know why but he is a very interesting, smart and clever guy. I know that he is evil but do you think Tom Riddle could ever been loved by someone or he could love someone. Yeah I know..his parents didn't loved each other only his mother loved his father. Do you think Tom Riddle had the possibilities to love someone and not only himself? And great edit..this is pure art ❤🔥

No, because he meets cryteria for antisocial personality disorder and narcissistic personality disorder. Even if he would be intriqued by concept of loving someone he couldn`t feel any of those emotions that comes with love and he wouldn`t care about the person itself but only about idea of love. Unless caring about others would benefited to him (mostly to his ego if we remove materialistic aspect).

alexcat 15 I feel like he could never actually love someone for themselves but if they had a Quality he could use for his own, it could be the closest thing he could "love". Like if a person had power he could use or that was cruel, you could call it love

I think J. K. Rowling said something awhile back like how Tom would of turned out different had his mother had lived. But I don't believe he would of ever been able to have emotions like normal people, which is honestly sad.

@LizzieAndMacoroniSittingInATree I know. Voldemort is more stupid and corrupted, but Tom wasn't capable of love since the beggining. Voldemort is, truly, his past, present and future. He never could turn into something good, cuz he couldn't love. But I know what you mean

High key needs more backstory of Tom Riddle rather than just bits of memory from Dumbledore. He's supposed to be the most feared wizard yet incredibly intelligent but his back story isn't as fleshed out as it should.
